Hey,

I'd like to sell an rs3 account here. But since I'm new and don't have a trusted rank, does anyone can help me with my account sel? Not just making the threads etc, but how can i go trusted? What is a trusted payment method? How should i communicate with the other person, what happens first?; first acc details and then payment or the other way around?...
I'm not going to keep this acc for something more than selling. So after the transaction, I'm out.

Any help?

 

At the end of the day you'll just have to stick around a while and build a reputation since an RS account can be recovered back at any time.

You can use a middleman to take the account in their possession, have the buyer send the money, then pass the account over. Find middlemen here: www.sythe.org/middleman-forums/.

Hey Wimi, I'll try give you as much information as possible, if you need more, feel free to PM me.

To start off, you would post your selling thread within this section http://www.sythe.org/other-accounts/ (post it within the correct subsection based on your accounts level).

Unfortunately, I don't think anyone will personally sell your account for you, as that would hold them liable, I'm sure you understand. It's nothing personal, but just how the market operates.

In regards to how the trade would occur, and whom to trust, I highly recommend using an OMM (Official Middle Man). They would middleman the trade between you and the buyer, and ensure everything goes down smoothly. The trade would generally work where both parties involved would provide the OMM with the details pertaining to the trade, and then the OMM would provide each party with the required details. Bare in mind, using an OMM, or trading with someone trusted, or anyone for that matter, doesn't prevent PayPal chargebacks. Even if you use an OMM, and the buyer decides to chargeback once payment has been made at a later date, there is not much you can do to prevent that. - That is why I highly recommend accepting payment methods that are non reversible, such as Western Union. Accept PayPal from those you can 100% trust.

In regards to communication - first post your account sales thread (follow the stickies which tell you what pictures are required), and then contact any parties interested via Skype and PM. I repeat, do not forget to ask for a PM over Sythe, from the buyer and if a middleman is involved, them aswell. Be vigilant and be aware of imposters.
