    without losing quality?
I have no idea really what Im doing, im just trying to print out some pictures of goats onto canvas, I did one at a store and it came out somewhat grainy and pixilated, due to the picture size being a bit small, can I do anything on photoshop to increase the size?

Hmm, don't know if you lose quality or much you lose if you do, but I've recently myself used a website called http://picresize.com/ where you can resize your pictures. Maybe you should check that out.

There is a way but Ive never done it, so I cant guide you, but Ive heard about it. I believe its called upscaling or upsampling. Its not perfect but I think its the best option you have if youre image isnt vector.

Youll need to increase the pixels per inch to 300 instead of 72 (72 is for web/screens...and 300 is for printing). Hope this helps :)

When I use PicResize it does not allow me to resize it larger, only smaller. Try some other websites. LunaPic works I think.

I'm not sure about picture quality, but from what I've just tested in Paint.Net,

If you select image, hold down shift and resize to chosen amount, it stays similar quality, just a bigger size.

(Resize the canvas to be bigger then original pic first)

No way to make an image bigger without losing quality. There are ways to reduce quality loss when resizing, but the resized image will be worse than the original.

I'd suggest getting a bigger picture of goats and working with that.

The result would be same. People just use that to keep same image ratio size on the canvas, which would be the same as resizing the whole image.

Contrary to what you may see on TV (usually in CSI programmes) there is no way to "enhance" a photo and make it bigger without losing quality. Unless you go back again and take another photo with a better camera with a higher Megapixel camera, that's it.

The next best thing to do is to increase the size in photoshop and use the "remove dust/scratches" filter, but this is very sloppy.
