Digital, where have I been?

I use to be a normal in this section, but so much time has passed and a lot has happened. I gave up drawing before highschool, and my dreams for graphic design after. About to start my 3rd year of college soon and my major has nothing to do with any aspect of art.

I just wanted to know if I still had a shred of talent left, so I doodled around. Made these sketches with a laptop mouse, as I don't have a tablet anymore. Tell me what you think. (inspired by berserk)



Should I look into digital drawing/painting and get back into GFX?

That's good (especially by mouse), but why does talent matter?

If you're not pursuing a career related to that field, I don't think it's a matter of talent, but whether you enjoy it or not. You can take it up as a hobby.

 

I was curious. As for a hobby, I'd need to dedicate an obscene amount of time, especially to get back where I was.

 

I don't think you'd need to dedicate that much time. A hobby is just something you enjoy and do in your free time. It doesn't mean necessarily mean you have to be good or at least good as you were before.

Have fun with it if you do decide to continue.
