My latest signature in GIMP. Probably my second favorite piece I've done so far besides my current Ganon sig. We should start having Signature of the Week here in the GFX section again, I think it'd be fun and good for the graphics community. Anyway, check it out:

It's better than the Gannon sig. Avoid so much white because it washes the piece out.

Sure, I just love Ganon too much to be honest.

Thanks for the tip, I tried to keep a balance going because the original "draft" of this piece was suuuuper white-washed. Do you think perhaps adjusting the contrast would help in that situation?

Definitely. The piece overall is quite bright, so adjusting the contrast would help make it pop a bit more.
The blending of the render is pretty good, however, I'm not a huge fan of the background for this one because the shapes impede the flow a bit.

Excellent, I'll keep that in mind next time I do a piece like this. I was considering re-doing it again anyway.

I can kind of see what you're talking about with the pyramids, but it was really the only render I had that fit the theme so nicely. Also I feel like if you could see the entire render it would reveal a bit more of the flow, but eh, not a big deal.

    Thanks for the suggestions!

Keep in mind you don't have to keep your canvas dimensions so small. I find my pieces getting bigger and bigger to accommodate for the render size :p.

I've done some bigger pieces but I tend to keep my dimensions around standard size for gfx signatures (400x150 / 420x130 etc).

Lacks some depth so you should definitely increase the contrast, I'm also not really a fan of all the white. It's makes the whole piece too bright and draws the attention away from the render.

Yea, there is a little to much white behind her hair I would suggest taking some of that out. :)
