I didn't know how to make that "earth" shatter effect and have chunks of the road fly everywhere. Do you think it would be complicated to learn how?

What do you guys think?

 

Could you give us the originals so we can compare?

 

I'm guessing you are going to have to get a picture with the road being shattered, then merge it in some how. That would add to the effect As for the piece, it is very clear what is going on and has some good effects e.g. explosions, fire, jet planes in the air.

I think you can use that lightning pack of yours to make black cracks and I assume you could use a c4d explosion effect with that road texture to get some flying particles. Either way, nice job.
