Respectable alcohol discussion

This is not a do/don't thread. Just a thread for posting you're favorite alcoholic beverages. Feel free to post drink mixes you also enjoy. Ill start with one I've recently tried.

Went to my local drink store and purchased this to sip on a little and completely loved it. Great straight up or mixed with a cola and lime (yum).

 

Redbull + Vodka = Heaven On Earth

 

Interesting, normally its redbull + Jager. Ill have to try this one sometime.

Yes I have, really common recipe but it just goes together perfectly. Normally I wont have jager but I love the mix.

 

Redbull and Vodka is my thing at parties....

I quite like Jager and monster(another energy drink) for some reason, some people don't like it though - acquired taste....

Sometimes I don't like drinking heavy vodka so I just have some vodka smirnoff ice, tastes like cloudy lucozade, shits buff...

 

Laphroaig single malt Scotch is possibly one of the smoothest and smokiest whiskeys I've ever had and I love it. Shame that it's $15 for a single shot at the bar.

 

Bulliet. Buffalo Trace.

Bourbon. If im feeling cheap Evan Williams Black Label.

3 fingers neat with a single ice cube, I also occasionally drink whiskey sours and old fashioned's.

 

I had a whiskey smash and it was awful. It was probably because it was a shitty apple bees bar tender, but it was poorly done and by the time it got to me it was watered down.

And every applebees drink I have had has been terrible, but they have specials on "magaritas" and "long island iced teas" for $3 so we drink em anyways lmao. I put the drink names in quotes because its premixed bullshit they add extra liquor to.

 

I've tried RedBull + Vodka. (It's quite nice tbh)
At first it was quite STRONG. Slowly however, it became good and it has a nice flavour to it.

I don't drink very often, so I don't know a lot/many things about Alcohol in general.

 

AMFs are my favorite hands down.

 

Yeah a whiskey smash is like an old fashioned but it has shaved ice and some other kind of mix in it.

 

Liquid cocaine and liquid marijuana. Stoplights and long islands.

 

If you want to get fucked up fast just drink an AMF. Personally I just do shots normally not a big mixed drink person.

 

This seems interesting. I'd really like to give this a couple test shots. Looks like it cost a little more than johnnie walker.

I know this is a different than scotch but this is a good straight sipper whisky

 

Beer -- Ninkasi/Alaska Amber Ale or any good stout.

Wine -- Any good dry red wine. I've found this gives you the best buzz out of anything you can drink.

Liquor -- Absinthe, or Vodka with Iced Green Tea

 

I'll drink shock top belgian white for a beer.

Then will move to ciroc w/ some sprite/lemonade.

I've also been liking rum with cherry coke for a mixer.

 

i find jagermeister is really easy to drink ( jager+redbull ). i do enjoy rum and coke, and Somersbys

the JW was $250 and is worth it. great sippin whisky.
