Doea anyone know where you can get trading card type cards printed? I'm developing a game that's like munchkin but with a class system, class specific spells, gear, dungeons, etc. and I need to find a good printing site.

Why not build a computer generated version of the game first? It would seem like something that is easier to program than find someone to print it with quality and card thickness.

If it takes off in a virtual form, then it would catch on with interest from a larger company or more leads. It also gauges interest on concept of the game with easy manipulation (modification) as needed. :)

The other thing is that you could try purchasing your own high-quality printer (the Canon or other near-flawless colour reproduction printers) and a heavy duty card stock of some sort. (65lb+ weight papers).

Literally just go type "trading card printing" into google. This was the third one down for me. :/ There are a ton more.

I've looked at all of them, I was just wondering if anyone here has had any personal experience with any companies, local or big. A virtual simulation is of course an option, but I'm not near the stage of testing or printing, this is just on my list of things to gauge the price on before diving to heavily into it.

Well first you're probably not going to have any luck with a trading card style game. There are two main competitors in that market and they're huge, Legend of the Five Rings and Magic: The Gathering. Now if you are actually talking about something similar to a living card game or just a game system based around cards, like munckin, it is completely different.

Artscow does very high quality prints but is very expensive.

He uses a site called Printer's Studio and they do med-high quality prints for relatively cheap.

Thanks for the help. The game is going to have a Munchkin flow, with some class based RPG elements and a gear system involved, as well as character levels. That explains a little bit about the game, and everything is simple!
