Jenkem aka butthash, a homemade drug created by allowing human urine and feces to ferment in a bottle with a balloon covering the opening. Users inhale the released methane gas from the balloon to get a "euphoric high similar to ingesting cocaine, but with strong hallucinations of times past."

Oh I know lol. I wasn't serious about doing it. Sewage is already toxic, so I can't imagine inhaling the fumes of fermented shit and piss can be safe. I'm actually surprised it's not more well known considering what some people are willing to do to get high.

I hadn't heard of it until yesterday, which is surprising. I'm definitely not going to be trying it. I wouldn't even if someone paid me, especially considering the diseases you can get. I even read somewhere that the taste can actually last weeks and I'm sure it gives you some nasty breath too lol. I doubt it's even possible to hit it without puking. It's really only common in Zambia apparently.

 

There is no way I would ever do this, apart from the fact I probably couldn't even stand the thought of being somewhat near it without being sick, it's just disgusting!

Just buy some cheap pills/weed if someone is so desperate for a bit of a high..

I'm still very skeptical as to whether Jenkem is real or not.. as far as I know, Jenkem was a joke started on the internet years ago that spread like wildfire. I first heard about it in highschool and used to crack jokes about it with my buddies when we were getting high lol.

I'm sure that probably if you let human waste ferment long enough or in the right environment, that you could get it to produce some kind of toxic gas that might have some sort of psychoactive effect. You would have to be pretty desperate to get high though to breathe in your own shit.

 

That's not the best idea considering you are smoking human wastes and all..

I saw this thing on 1000 ways to die about this "Jenkem". Some dude died cause he needed to get high so bad that he went to a portapotty and inhaled all of the fumes and he had like an overdose or something lol.
