Do you wish you was born more in to the future?

I was thinking about this earlier and I was wondering if i'd like to have been born more later in to the future say the year 2500 or something, its a shame really how one is born live our life and die yet the world keeps on going. I just wish I could experience what the world would be like. I quite enjoy life and its a shame we all have to die at some point in time. I mean don't get me wrong I live in a great generation at the moment with all the computers and internet and other multimedia products but the future could hold great stuff. Whats your opinons on this?

 

No sir, If anything I wish i was born earlier...Like say the late 50's early 60's. so that way I would be at a good age ar around 1975 lol... But joking aside(I really do wanna live in the 70's) the future doesent appeal to me..I know what you see in movies does not really apply but the futuristic outfits and flying cars are pretty gay, I hope the future isnt like that...Apart from a flying car, but i still want to have the option to burn some rubber

 

I have watched TV shows like "The Only Fools and Horses" and that is based in the 80's and 90's and times look so much more relaxed and easier back then I also wish I could of lived in that era. I was born in 1993 but I don't remember much back then.

 

Honestly, no.

I was born in 1994, I'm 18-years-old, and the society I have grown-up with is absolutely obscure and full of degenerates. If the world keeps excelling the way it does, I would honestly feel sorry for the people living in the future. We may be evolving in terms of technology, but not as a species.

If anything, I would rather live in the past -- like Merlin's time! Human beings were actually able to become one with themselves back then. But over time we lost that ability. And I fear that the future is only going to make us excel even further backwards as a species.

 

The government is ruining the world, who knows what the future holds.

 

By your analysis, the future would be bad (because of the "government" ruining the world etc.). So yeah, it seems like you know what the future holds.

Id rather not.. 2012 is fine for me and all the technology were supposably going to have in the future sound really stupid.

To everyone else: You know if you were born in the 80s you wouldn't be able to go on sythe right?

 

I wish I was born in the middle ages knights kings etc.Where gold was the currency no phones no internet etc seems like a fun life.But theres always cons and pros of a generation no heating etc etc.But future past we dont really know what ACTUALLY happen in that time people could read about our culture or livestyle 100 years from but still wouldnt know what it was really like.If you know what I mean.

The further into the future the more people will live in fear due to increased technology. Which country will destroy the world? Will we have enough water?

Id wrather be born in an earlier time and enjoy not so many laws and the way alot of things are today...Id wrather be hot rodding my '74 charger or whatever your favorite car is back then than be on sythe lol...Plus we would all be more knowledgable with computers since we would have been around them from the beginning.

 

I would either enjoy being the first people on Earth, or right where I am at right now, the 90s. Right when technology advances, Super Nintendo, N64. All the fun stuff.

 

I think if anything, I'd rather be born earlier than later... There's worries about what the future holds with the resources running out and governments corrupting their respective countries... I think with a choice I would choose the same year to be born again.

 

I wish I was born long time earlier. When jesus was born? or in the prophet mohammed times..

That is so very, very true... I admit that didn't cross my mind when replying for the first time, but it fits into what I said; I would only be born earlier (or the same), with the choice, not later.

 

I guess it would be great to go back and answer all those questions that we can't answer, I guess its a fear of dying and the world moving on.

 

The future doesn't appeal to me considering the national debt and the way the USA is going downhill, in my opinion. If at all, I'd prefer to have been born earlier.

 

Yeah, that'd be fucked up. That would mean that I would be this age living in the future of the future in which I was born..

I actually wouldn't want to be born more in to the future, too many problems as it is in the present. I would rather go back in time and impress everybody with my knowledge ^_^
