Do you wish you was born more in to the future?

I reassuringly wouldn't want to have been born more in the future. The only time change I'd willingly accept was if I was born in the fifties-sixties so I could have experienced the Beatles live when they were new to America. As well as many legendary 70's and 80's bands. It would only be a short visit, though, I'd have to come back to the present.

 

lol, life in the middle ages have no difference than hell you know, food were extremely scarce, most of the food you earn go to the lord, you have to be very strict with your religion and must be Christian or you'll be killed. You basically have no rights and die very early, this is certain.

i understand what you mean by you cant choose to be born when u are and u only get one life. but i am a christian and i belive some people will get the chance to live forever when god comes for the world and cleans the earth of all the wickedness

That is honestly one of the most ignorant things i've ever read/heard. The middle ages were absolutely miserable. They didn't have western medicine, human rights, civil liberties, non perishable foods, etc, and you're fucking worried about heating? We have a very good idea of what happened. I don't even know what you're talking about. Incomprehensible. I don't know why your post made me so angry.

I find the future scary, I prefer to live in the past. Just like Runescape 5 years ago, compared to 5 years on from now. *shudder*

No, I do not wish I lived in the past nor in the future. I don't know what the future holds, be it good or bad. I don't like the past as well because of how boring it looks. Technology was so weak, things like TV, computers, cell phones didn't exist and I don't know how I would get by my day without any of those (I know it's pretty sad). I want to keep myself occupied and no, you can keep yourself occupied with your friends the whole day.

 

I'm Canadian, from what I've learned the 1950s were a booming time for Canada with much less anti-communism hysteria and media.

 

honestly i doubt we the human race will survive to the year 2500, with all our weapons and with so many countries having nuclear weapons. i wish i was born in older times though, people now generally suck lol especially since Facebook and texting came around.

 

depends on what the future holds. I personally would like to imagine a future without religion and that sort of bullshit. Now thats a future i would like to be a part of.

 

Actually.. I wish I was born in the late 50s or so to enjoy the real music.. none of this gaga or beiber shit. Queen.. Styx.. I've only just begun. Also the cars back then were sick.. I mean a 1960 corvette is fucking legit man.. + if I could time travel i'd stock up on antique cars and resell em for 300% profit

I was born in China, so I'm pretty content with the time I was born, everything was turning around for the better, while the government was and still is corrupt, had I been born just 20-30 years earlier, my chances of survive would be extremely low. As for being born in the future, well, seeing how destructive mankind is, how much more of a future do we have?

 

I'd rather be born 50 years from now, for several reasons such as the cure for cancer would probably be found by then.

Also, Im always fascinated by new technology.

 

Instead of being born in the future, I wish I was born in the past like 1970's so that I could experience the 1980's, etc.
