Favorite MMO?

To prevent dozens of these threads, I will sticky this thread and add numerous options. Feel free to share which one you selected and why.

 

I definitely think that Final Fantasy 11 deserves to be up there. As one of the starters of the modern day MMORPG genre, they deserve acknowledgment and my vote for the best game.

 

Runescape, wait no! I meant Guild wars... no wait! WoW! Ugh... Runescape I guess.

 

World of Warcraft... It really is a freaking epic game and the community is just massive.

 

WoW is the best MMO by far.
Runescape is the best free to play / browser MMO.

Tibia has the best community and one of the first MMO's. It gave ideas to many of the best MMO's out there. I'm going with TIBIA..

i choose runescape, though, as my second choice.

 

You should add Age of Conan, Everquest Series, and Ultima Online, but remove Diablo Series, as by definition, it is no more of an MMO than Modern Warfare 2 is.

Although I don't play any MMOs at this point in time it was a hard choice between Runescape and WoW. I picked Runescape though as the only reason I played WoW was because I did BGs with my 3 fully decked out twinks. Blizzard updated WoW and twinks are pretty much useless from now on, I can never get into a no exp BG.

 

Yeah everquest should be up there but was hard to choose between RoM WoW and rs but i choose WoW.

 

I <3 RuneScape, but I can't play GunZ (my fav game) anymore since I'm using wireless internet. :'(

Aion > All

 

Runescape or maplestory, but I choose runescape in the end.

 

Maplestory, good for younger audience, or nolifed by the 50yr old pedobears.
Runescape, good for lower performance PCs.
WoW, good only if you got hooked a WHILE back.
Aion, good if looking for a new WoW. (I play)
Tibia, only really nice if you are high level and like this gamestyle.
Everquest II, people say games are WoW-Clones... WoW cloned off of this bitches.
