Any Rust players here?

I'm just starting to play Rust a bit and will be really active after the server wipe tomorrow once I get a bit of client work done and out of the way tonight.

One of my friends irl will be with me and we'll be building a nice base as soon as we get on tomorrow, after the wipe. Anyone else up for helping? The more the merrier, if any others on Sythe play it.

I had fun with it for awhile, I'm just more of a solo player. That's a huge disadvantage in rust.

 

Yeah it is. I play with a buddy of mine and we just team. But I'm wondering if any Sythe members want to join us and make a bigger team.

We have blueprints for almost everything as of yesterday. We got C4, landmines, AK, all that good stuff. The only weapon we don't have is the rocket launcher (but we do have rockets). Right now we're just building up and collecting BPs, but in the next few days we'll start raiding (and then start raiding immediately after the wipe Thursday).

I played it quite a bit back when the game first released in browser, up until right after the engine update, but lost interest shortly thereafter as the unity 5 version was highly unpolished still. I've had a few people trying to talk me into going back, I might give it a go again one of these days.

 

If you want to join us you should start up on Facepunch Toronto if Toronto is anywhere near you (don't want ping that high).

Send me a PM if you play it again. I really want to get a team going. It's just difficult with only 2 of us.

Toronto would be about 175-220+ ping, seeing as I'm on the opposite side of the planet. Maybe in a few months when I get settled in Virginia, we can work something out if you're still playing then.

Yes, pretty similar gameplay I think (from what I've seen - I don't play H1Z1 myself). Many say that it's better.
