Hello,

Firstly I'd like to state the account I'm disputing a ban for: "Juice". I created this account in 2007 and I've been an active member of the community ever since, and not one rule has been broken on my part since I first set eyes on the site.

Attempting to recover accounts

What happened?:
I recently posted a guide up for sale on how to recover accounts (which can be found by clicking here) and in this guide I specifically stated that this was to be used for your own accounts or recovering accounts from 2001-2002.

This guide was in no way directed to the scammers of the community, and it didn't even enter my thought process that account sellers could use my guide to recover accounts.

Less than an hour after posting the guide, "Hahanerd" locked the thread, because he deemed it inappropriate, which in hindsight, I accept. However, what I do not accept is what happened next - I was banned for the reason stated earlier in this thread.

I did not sell one copy of this guide to any members of this community, and I certainly did not attempt to recover an account (I've never sold an account on this site, and never intend to).

In addition, the guide was intended for the good of the community to use and to help those who struggle to recover their accounts, etc. If I was given a warning by a staff member prior to the banning then I would have got the thread closed right away, as I do respect the rules of the site and I've always tried my best to abide by them.

I've always known that you take scamming very seriously and the fact that you've banned me shows that you do care about the safety of those who choose to use this forum. A simple flaw in my actions led me to be banned, and for this I'm truly sorry - I did not know posting a guide of this nature would be considered an offence on my part - I've always tried my best to keep what I post within the rules, and this is one mistake of the few I've made.

Whatever the outcome of this dispute, I fully respect your decision and I can assure you it'll never happen again.
