    Requesting a Pardon.

I made an official Sythe merchanting clan with Louis not too long ago. Things were going well for the most part; we had decent activity, a lot of GP invested, and some very dedicated members. The item crashed about a week later after going +6,000 GP. A "scammer" report regarding myself surfaced about a week after that. I wasn't able to properly defend myself. All that was relayed to the Upper Lounge was a small message (courtesy of Tyro). I'd like to completely explain in depth what happened with my accounts and the clan in this thread. I believe I was unfairly demoted, the offense I am guilty of is extremely minor, and it is not scamming.

I set up the thread and it immediately became a hit, everyone wanted to join in on the merchant. I came up with the rules for the clan to ensure it was as safe as possible. I did say a ban would be administered to anyone who was caught lying. Initially, I was going to invest the gold on my pure by selling it's purple partyhat. The thread started rolling at a faster pace, I was updating it accordingly. About two days after I made the thread, we had over 1.4B invested together. I saw that the partyhat sold for a lot of money on PayPal (+ trade price) and thought it would be incredibly foolish to get rid of it. I decided to invest money on a separate project I had been working on, my mage pure. I was botting this account daily in hopes of getting it the proper money to further buff the merch. The item sold out within an hour of it's release, it was a success. At about the one week mark, my mage pure was banned for botting. I lost about 10M in spears and the account itself. At that point I decided I was done for this merch, but I didn't close it because I didn't want to abort something that other people had already invested & held interest in.

All of this was going fine until about a week after my mage pure was banned. Chris wanted me to get on Skype to talk. Since I frequently talk to him on Ventrilo, I saw no problem with talking to him on Skype, after all he was my friend. One thing lead to another and we were finally talking about the merchanting clan. He wanted to see my investment, but I hadn't told him about my account being banned at the time. I told him over MSN and he was just giving me a hard time (that's how Chris acts). Chris had a friend in the Skype conversation named Jasdeep3; I had spoken to him a few times before, he was a friend of Chris'. He was in on the merch, he seemed like a nice guy. Chris told Jasdeep3 about my banned account and they were joking around and trolling me saying they'd report me. I called what I thought was a bluff (they had no evidence of me dumping, because I never did it), but Jasdeep3 actually filed a report on me using some very twisted evidence and MSN pictures.

Now, I'd like to break down probably the most key part of this. I was trying to explain what I did on two different accounts at once. Let's set this straight, I NEVER invested on my partyhat account. I BARELY invested on my magic pure (they were extremely hard to buy and get a hold of, I only had 10M spears at the time of the ban). I can prove that the account is banned & was mine. I can also prove I still have the partyhat account, meaning it wasn't sold and I couldn't of made any profit, AKA no scam. I wasn't making up two different stories. I was explaining two parts of the situation.

I failed to update my merchanting thread with my new investment. I am guilty of that. Is that really worthy of a demotion? I never had any intentions of scamming using this clan, what's the point? Why would I risk my modship over a +6k merch? It doesn't add up. I didn't really explain myself as well as I could of, but I was a bit unprepared and shocked that the report was actually made. That's why I felt the need to write this now. I apologize for not updating my thread and if anyone felt mislead by the partyhat picture, that wasn't my intention. It was nothing malicious, it's an honest mistake. I think stripping my modship won't solve anything, I haven't had a single strike on my back up until this point.

I apologize for the extremely long post, but I felt the need to explain everything in utmost detail. If you need to check accounts or anything to make sure, just say the word. Thanks for reading.

Unfortunately, your demotion was the result of a staff poll. This is nothing that a pardon can change.
