Grave Mistake

I cannot decide if this should be a dispute or a pardon. I have done what the ban reason states, but I never knew it could be worthy of a permanent ban. I was banned by Sythe, so the final decision is his, I would still like staff members to give their opinions on the matter and would appreciate it if they hold back whatever they have against me when expressing themselves.

I'm not going to deny being "mixed up with all the wrong people". I'd just like to express myself and explain my side of the story. Instead of private messaging you, Alex posted my clear explanation of everything here. Please read it if you have enough spare time. As for explaining why I was mixed up with the wrong people, it is a part of my morals to allow everyone a second chance. I don't think it's correct to lose all contacts with someone just because of their actions, and I will remain friends with them as long as they respect me and do not directly harm me. This may be wrong, but that's my beliefs.

- I haven't participated in any of the delinquent activities of my friends
- I have reported and to the best of my ability prevented any harmful activities

• Helped keep Hahanerd45 secure before and while he was hacked
• Tried my best to recover Tyro's MSN and assist him
• Tried to contact you directly about the Sindrefyrn leak but failed
• After coming back from vacation, explained the Finn framings to Skele_master
• Reported the Farcast framing Syed was planning

- I'm fairly trusted and contribute to the community

• Gold business with $2000 worth trades
• Botting services with another $2000 worth trades
• Donated $25+ and plan on donating what was promised even if I remain banned
• Contributed Guides to the User Education/SFA
• Middlemanned many trades
• Reported rule-breaking members (even after my ban)

It's not fair to ban someone for this reason.
If not, why was I singled out from the many people who have been "mixed up" with Brandon, Syed, and Sigex?

Sythe has been a large portion of my life in the past two years, and I would love to be given a second chance. I have never harmed the website, staff, or members in any way and don't plan on ever doing so.

I've already explained my reasoning for hanging out with people who have acted immorally against Sythe.org, so I'll go ahead and argue your second statement. I didn't even know what RATs are until looking it up after your post. Syed and Brandon did talk about them, but I never contributed to the dicussion. As for the hacking and framing, I'm fairly familiar, but I have never attempted to do such a thing or even encouraged anyone else to do such a thing. If you don't believe me, please speak to Tyro and Hahanerd45, who I assisted during their hacking incidents. I'm also against framing, even though it is very easily to do. I explained everything I knew about framing to Skele_master to help with your case, and I even brought up a suggestion a long time ago (maybe a year or two) to not automatically accept screenshots as proof and to investigate them. Please don't accuse me of doing such things, or even guess so, without at least having the decency to ask me or having even the smallest amount of evidence; it upsets me.

 

I agree with this and thus do not want to see the ban undone.

 

Associating yourself with those who are responsible for ''these kind of malicious things'' is association, whether you define it as such or not.

 

You never reported the frame(s) Syed was conjuring. You were actually a dick to me about the entire situation.

I personally trust him, (He has my address and phone number, used to ship an xbox controller to me) he's a good asset to the community (Middleman, safe trader, account seller, gold seller, etc.)

I have many reasons as to why I feel this way, namely because you lie to make yourself look like the hero. You never came forward when Sindrefyrn was leaking. You were extremely angry when Chris told people what was going on, that doesn't look like good character to me. Your close friendship with Syed is alarming too. Lastly, you didn't help me when I was being framed. You went forward and supported the other fake report against me by providing out of context evidence (you even spent the time to make a video). I won't go too deeply into detail, but you also insulted me over MSN when I didn't believe you. I don't trust you at all; in fact I think you're a bad influence on the site.

 

This is going to be the last message I post for a while. I've decided to quit the internet as a whole (other than ocassional visits for e-mail and research of course) so it doesn't matter if I'm banned or not anymore. My ban actually helped me make this decision; I'm a high school senior and I'm going to focus and try to get into Harvard or Stanford university.

Anyway, I want to clarify some things before I leave.
I don't care what happens anymore.

1. The Staff
Up to now I didn't realize how much bias goes into anything that happens here at Sythe. There is no doubt that if you're loved by an administrator (Finn) you can dodge bullets (Gohan, Plznate) and if you're hated by a staff member they wil vote against you no matter the magnitude of the offence. I don't want to turn this into a conspiracy or a rant, so I'll just go ahead and leave it at this: I truly think my ban reason was bullshit as many other members committed the same exact crime, if it's even a crime to have stupid friends.

- Skype Crew: I was bored in the summer and Julia invited me in a conversation, we had it going every day. It had nothing to do with Sythe, but if you're so sure everyone who speaks on Skype is malacious, why was I the only person banned solely for this reason?
- Sigex: For god's sake we play games together.

Please by all means keep me banned, but at least be fair about it and apply the same punishment to everyone. Here's a list of people that were highly active in speaking with Brandon, Syed, and Sigex, while knowing their crimes. I have proof of all these people "associating" with them if necessary:

Tmoe, Floyd, Chriscross23 [if he gets unbanned], Louis, Darkgroove, Blupig, Eugene, JRSmithfan1, Tyro and others.

Those bolded were just as active as I was.

2. My involvement in recent activities

Finn Framing: I was gone on vacation
Brandon Hackings: I helped two people (Hahanerd45, Tyro)
Farcast Framing: Reported before it happened
Sindrefyrn Leak: Attempted to report it through Skele and Louis, but I decided not to due to security reasons; I was temp. banned at the moment: no communication with Richard


If it makes a difference, I'm not going to be getting on Skype anymore. Finn and Tgump were right about them being complete assholes.

I might be back on Christmas, in several months, or in a few years if I get unbanned.

I'm not going to be active on my MSN; maybe one time a week/month at most.
I'll be on my community until I get a replacement for my job.



What made me come up with this decision?
- My time gets consumed. I end up getting screwed over by all my friends and don't feel appreciated
- I have decided I want a better future, so I'm going to study more often and try to get a life
- Dedicated my life to a website for 2 years and get screwed over even though I never did anything harmful
