My recent ban

Alright, so. Last night I was MMing trades perfectly fine. I had done almost 4 trades that night (check my OMM thread if it's needed) and all was going great. I refreshed sythe to see I'm banned

"9 Fucking Infractions" -Tgump

I went to bed, perfectly fine because I was almost sure I had an infraction that was reverse able, as I was trying to behave. I guess because I hang out in "Skype" I'm a bad guy. Regardless if I do anything bad, which I haven't.
Anyways, I logged back on today and asked farcast to check my infractions for me. He said sure and did so. I had an infraction for posting:


"His email is linked to a public shellPersonally, I wouldn't trust him"


On .Karl's vouch thread. I can see how that's an infraction, sure, but my intent was only to raise awareness to the shady nature of the guy. Then, I got an infraction for posting on some guys "Suicide" thread.I posted something like


"Stop bitching and just do it. Stop moaning about it and just fucking do it. Either be a pussy and kill yourself or get up and fix it."

Accompanied by a Nike symbol saying "Just do it."


This infraction is what got me perm'd banned (according to a few people that I'm indeed perm'd). My post on that guy's thread was totally true. In kinder words I was saying

"Stop crying and feeling sorry for yourself and do it. Stop moaning and laying about and do it. If you're going to be scared, and look for the easy way out do it. If you aren't going to be a little girl about this then get up and fix it"

I was telling the guy not to feel sorry for him, not to lay around, not to moan about his life. That he should get up, be proactive, and just do it. Just do it is positive. Just get out and fix it. Just go out have fun. Just enjoy life.
Whatever way you take my post. I know the intention was good-hearted. Even if you deem it "inappropite" or "rude" whatever you want to say. It STILL doesn't mean I should be permanently banned. At most, an infraciton and a forum ban. Like the other people that "Troll" in Personal Support and Assistance.

Finn, being the brains of that section might take it a bit too critical that me, somebody he clearly hates, posts something that can be taken as mean, rude, whatever, so I'm looking for outside thoughts.

Given his response, a forum ban from Personal Support & Assistance would have been a more appropriate punishment. I do not support the permanent ban he has received.

 

I support ban from personal support and however long the normal ban time for 9 infractions is.

 

If other Globals agree, I think lifting the permanent ban and placing a forum ban for Personal Support & Assistance will be sufficient. While his actions are pretty vile, a permanent ban from Sythe might be a little too harsh.

You should remember that you're on probation and this kind of behavior won't be tolerated next time.

 

There is no ''next time''. I consulted Sythe before banning you, as I was aware you'd plead bias, but that sort of behaviour is absolutely despicable and you are no longer welcome here.
