Runescapeâ„¢ Dispute - Banned For Scamming

What ACTUALLY Happened: In the report, O_R_L_Y stated that Runescapeâ„¢ "took the name back." Now, that's not really what happened because he "sniped" the name, because it was open at the time. It's not Runescapeâ„¢'s fault that theGuitarist didn't safely transfer the name, now is it? Regardless if that; O_R_L_Y was being hypocritical for reporting because he actually did the same exact thing. I'll explain this in a bit.

Runescapeâ„¢ has agreed to give theGuitarist the username "Bong" back, if he gets unbanned.

Onto O_R_L_Y's part.
The Story: DontMoveOrIllBiteItOff had the RuneScape username "6". Now, he sold the username, and then was transferring it over. While doing so, O_R_L_Y was auto clicking the part where you enter your username, so once 6 was available, it'd be his. Therefore, since Runescapeâ„¢ was banned for it, O_R_L_Y should be banned for it too. If you want screenies of this; please ask.

Summary: Runescapeâ„¢ was banned for "sniping" a username, and is offering to refund theGuitarist. O_R_L_Y should be warranted a ban for doing the same exact thing.

I'll ask Sengira his thoughts. He seemed to have made up his mind.

 

Sengira and I discussed this case in detail, and it has been determined that the intent to steal the name back was evident.

As such, he is classified as a scammer, and until he repays back the stolen goods, his unban will not even be considered.

If you would like to make a report about another member on the site, then please feel free to do so, however whether another member should or should not be banned is more or less irrelevant to this issue.
