I'll dispute individual points first.

Posting hate/mockery threads about Finn the spam forum -|- I'd say my thread was more of a parody. It wasn't meant to mock Finn, it was meant to shed light on what I found to be a funny situation. In fact, I don't think I even mentioned Finn once outside that thread.


circumventing thread closure in Feedback (when you know perfectly well that the Feedback forum is not for issues like this) -|- This is infraction worthy at best. I wanted a quick explanation and I got it.


calling Hahanerd a retard -|- How about you guys ask Hahanerd how many times I've called him a name since he registered. I have that type of relationship with him, I can call him whatever I like, he can do the same.

and raging at the concept of "administrative privilege" -|-Okay maybe I went a little overboard with the administrator privilege jokes. But in my defense I wasn't raging I was mainly making jokes about them.

Magic Arrow - I may consider reducing his ban to a week, but it was not his posts in the Finn thread that resulted in his banning; it was his disgusting childish attitude, hate threads, flaming and trolling that prompted my decision to ban him. He was seeing red after being told that there were 'administrative privileges' that he was not entitled to, and he really could have handled his disagreement with that much better.

I don't remember making a hate thread, only a parody. I addressed most of the above nways.

Magic Arrow - banned by SMR. Magic Arrow has always been a troll and was almost banned a while ago for his trolling. However, he displayed superficial character reform, and we welcomed him onto the staff. Following his resignation, he promptly returned to his old ways -- the character reform that the Administrators had considered to have occurred was superficial; he proceeded again to troll, insult and spam extensively, and was so removed.

Correction, I only trolled early last year and recently. How was I meant to know that I was almost banned a while ago for my trolling? Nobody told me anything. My character reform was anything but superficial. I can decide whether to joke or not, I don't need a total character reformation for that. I can be serious if I need to. You guys welcomed me on staff, yes, but it was not like I didn't deserve it. I'd made massive pushes in the UE, and as you can see, after leaving, it almost fell apart. The character reform was not superficial! It wasn't even a reform. Yes I trolled, insult (both to me were joking) and spamming (I didn't receive a single infraction).

Oh and one more thing, you keep saying Global Ignore. WTF is that.

 

Global ignore means your posts are hidden to regular users(as if you're added to everyone's ignore list), but you're still able to post and view your posts. Moderators and admins can still see the posts, but they are marked as global ignore.

It's a built in vbulletin feature.

 

I support an unban in last chance usergroup. That sounds fair to me for this particular case.
