Sticky Where did x go Thread.

Feel like it used to be and then wasnt .. thread has reached maximum capacity 2-3 times and had to be remade in my tenure on sythe and is valuable tool.

It very seldom wanders off the first page but when it does its a pita to find again.

Too many com gen stickies to add another one, especially when it's always on the first page

This there are tons of stickies no one gives a fuck about there all of which either cant ve posted or are NOT posted on (a single post this month).

Just because its usually on the first page doesnt mean it shouldnt be stickied..

Seriously the thread is so often used its reached capacity MULTIPLE times. Atleast we know it would get activity unlike most the other stickies.

 

point of stickies isnt generally for activity in them

its to point out things people might go looking for but dont need or arent there for activity, so they need to be stickied to be seen

just because a thread is active doesnt automatically mean it needs stickied

 

Community General has too many stickies. Most can be compressed within one thread.

 

These threads in community general no longer need to be there (or in my opinion need to be removed)

Point of stickies is keeping useful and or informative threads on hand is it not?

The thread in question is both useful and informative. Its not my fault and no fault of the suggestion itself that comm gen is a clusterfuck so your point is moot.

 

there is no reason to sticky it when its in the top 5 99% of the time

 

You can combine a majority of those stickies into an "Everything you need to know" sticky.

Thats the reason WHY I think it should be stickied lol. And as I said earlier, its a pita when it isnt on first page, which is fairly rare but it still happens.

Its a fixture of the community general forum other then the current amount of stickies being a clusterfuck I cant think of one negative. Yet there is an immediate benefit, everyone will know EXACTLY where the thread is always.

I condensed the staff, titles and ranks threads.

But still stand by the fact that "Where did [name here] go?" is not the type of thread that needs or should be stickied.

 

Thread will not be stickied. Always on front page and EXTREMELY easy to find anyways.
