Honestly, this isn't going to be some tangent or bashing. But it's pretty simple Leanbean has been trusted with thousands of dollars. The staff members trusted him enough to make him global. Now I am not saying staff members can't scam but we have to put trust into them to make the right choice. Bottom line is during this whole thing basic trading practices weren't even practiced we preach to new members always request a private message. There are stickies of requesting a private message. You shouldn't base your argument off of something that was sent a month ago. Bottom line is yes you lost 2,000 and I feel bad for you but you didn't even follow the most basic trading principles of requesting a private message. That makes it your fault especially if Lean is innocent. Now smashing him isn't going to bring back your 2,000. Everyone needs to relax and let the staff come to their decision and honestly the drama is stupid. You're all entitled to your opinions but flooding every section on the site with Leanbean is taking away from the sections themselves and is going to detour people because honestly most people don't want to listen to it. For all of you smashing on Roary are idiots honestly. You want to think the best of your friends. It's human nature within itself and we all have friends that are staff and not staff so who cares if they're friends on the staff team better then everyone hating each other.

Well we have enough attacking Lean someone should make one defending or at least looking at both sides. People love the drama and always assume the worst.

Honestly, who uses a private message from a month ago. That doesn't even remotely make sense when trading 2 grand.

Legal lesson of the day:

To prove contributory negligence you have to prove that the damages were in part caused by the party of the first part, in this case LB. What negligence are you suggesting that directly would have caused? Just curious.

 

If he would have asked for a private message then this wouldn't have happened or if it happened after he had a current private message he would have valid proof to get him banned.

 

Lb- not having control of your primary Skype email, and somehow not 'realising' he has been hacked when he is still online on sythe.org

Those didn't cause or contribute to the scam though. I work 6 - 8 hours a day and I don't usually get on sythe and I am not on my Skype while at work. If I were a trader then I could easily become hacked within that time and not know it.

 

The rest of your argument is fair, I'm just posting my opinion.

With quoted statement - LB's sythe account was online during the hacking etc.

 

What if you're logged on from a mobile device and not currently on skype? Now I am not sure of the full situation but isn't that a possibility?

 

He had traded previously with lean around a week and a half before legitly without requesting a pm.

Just because I shoot myself in the foot once doesn't mean I should do it again. He still didn't follow simple trading rules and when you're trading a large amount of 2,000. You should want that extra security.

 

even tho people that trade often on here know that we should receive a pm for every trade specially for a $2000 trade the rule doesnt say that so lean should refund part of it.

 

That's my point he didn't even follow simple trading rules and now wants to take it out on Lean because of his mistake.

 

a pm is verification of the person you're trading with.
He had verified lean a month before and had done his most recent a trade a week (and like 3-5 days + ) before, without issues.

Am i defending he didn't request a pm? Yes and no.
If it was myself a large trade has to require a pm, but for him 2,000 could be nothing with the large trades he does.

Why am i against lean? The final statement of the report thread was horridly bad.

Because you know, one can't have more than one paypal account.

He doesn't want to provide any email proof and has part fault for negligence on his skype account.

He doesn't show any sort of remorse for a person he makes hundreds of $ for , and his statement saying that he will never repay him.

 

You just made a thread where you clearly state that the staff should come up with the decision, enough with the attacks, blablabla... 5 minutes later you start backbiting the other guy. I'm not saying that Lean scammed, but atleast have respect for both sides not only for a 'staff' member.

 

I'm not backbiting anyone. I am saying simple things of how this could have been avoided. I am not attacking anyone. I'm not flaming hell I am not even using the other persons name. People love drama and they always assume the worst. Exactly the same in this case.

 

So sick and tired of people dickeating off of staff. Simple fact of the matter is, if leanbean901 was a newbie or normal member he would have been long banned. But because he has staff title so many of you guys are eating out of his ass. It's embarrassing.
