Different way to make a hidden folder.

How to make a hidden folder to everyone but you.

Step 1:

Firstly, make a new Folder.



Step 2:

Rename the Folder, but don't type anything. Just hold ALT then press 0 1 6 0, then you should end up with something like this;



Step 3:

Right click your Folder and click 'Properties', then click the tab 'Customize', then 'Change icon'. Select the icon with nothing there.



Step 4:

Put your folder wherever you want, but remember where abouts it is else you'll lose it.

my computer has such a different layout, don't understand it fully. but meh.

 

Tried it once, I restarted the computer and the blank folder had become a black box that I could not delete.

I just did it on Windows Vista and it's there but invisible unless you hover your mouse over it. So I put it in the top right hand corner, lol.
