Ok :embar: I was just wondering ( wow this is noob :'( ) I'm new to scripting and stuff, so when i download a script or more into my scripts folder ect what do i do next ? Where is compile.bat and stuff >_< >_< ?

You added a script. i Know you did so dont lie

remove all your scripts and then download a script pack to get them all back.

some script has bad code in it






Compile.bat is in the main rsbot folder lol..

#1 add script to script folder
#2 compile
#3 run.bat
#4 Bot>run script
#5 enjoy

First of all, try not to use so many caps, it's considered offensive to type multiple whole sentences in caps like that.

Secondly, did you download the JDK Java pack? If not, then go to Java's site and do so. I have JDK 6 Version2 I think and mine works. Also, make sure you're Java is updated. Doing these things should fix you're problem, if not feel free to let us know.


And Draggin, very good idea to make this thread, I'm thinking maybe it should be stickied so it's easier for you to answer questions. Even if there is a RSBot general help section.

And that error means you added a script that uses imports your computer doesnt have.. so.. all you have to do is download the LATEST jdk and compile again and you'll be set.


also xranger.. your problem is with your computer not with rsbot.

 

How do anti-randoms work? You do not need to add them to your script correct? I assume they run on another thread that pauses the script thread if it finds a random correct?

Ummm, I have never scripted for RSBOT before... And you only answered one of my questions... I thought I was right, and I you showed that I am.... :/.. I could figure out the other two, but if someone knows the answers then its much easier to have them tell me the answers... D:

 

Looking back on it im not sure im correct, wait for Draggin to get on. He should be home shortly.

How do you make the code someone posts into a script? i dont get it.

 

to do that all you have to do is post it into notepad, and then save the file as a .java file and place it in your scripts folder, then compile and now you should be good to go



and i guess ill try to use scar until i can figure out a way to get on rsbot

 

Okay, so when I go on Non-Members, everything runs all right and its all good and stuff, but when I go to run scripts, there are no scripts! Oh noez! So I figure, heck, why not compile, but when I press compile, this comes up... and I have already uninstalled rsbot and reinstalled it, so then, it says tools.jar is not present and yada yada, then it asks if I would like to download the new JDK crap, so I hit yes, and then THIS comes up.... please help meh!

 

you need to download tools.jar from rsbot.. their batch file download doesnt work.

also i answered your ?'s suf in another thread.

And to the whole class files missing thing, remove the script you just installed.

 

says the script is loaded, i took all out but 1, but still not working properly? plz help or show a screen shot of how yours looks when you open up the run scripts screen

 

It loaded 27 randoms, 0 antibans and 1 script.
