How to make money with Google

Alright Yo'! This guide is about how to Google's software, Google AdSense to make your self some money.

Introduction:

Google, as I'm sure you know, started off in 1998 as a Search Engine (A magical tool for browsing the web faster). Since then it has expanded its operations and now owns global internet brands such as YouTube and BlogSpot.

Google is a great way for companies to get publicity, so Google set up two sister programmes. One, Google AdWords, allows the company to advertise itself on Google (in the sponsored links section). The other, Google AdSense, allows "publishers" to place Google's ads (from the users of AdWords) on their site/blog/whatever and in return when they are clicked the publisher will recieve an amount usually between 0.50$ - $2.50 per ad.

(Most likely you've seen ads like this before while browsing the internet, if not you may need to spend more time at the computer screen )

Now, before I go any further, let me just erase some of the thoughts your probably having. YOU CANNOT SPAM THESE ADS TO EARN MONEY! Spamming these ads will trigger Google's attention, and if they note the same IP's clicking on all the ads often, you WILL get banned.

Requirements to sign up:

• Be 18 years old (If not the checks will bounce when you attempt to cash them).
• Have a domain/subdomain (you can even use free hosting sites for this, I'd suggest you open up a BlogSpot account if you don't have one, BlogSpot integrates very well with AdSense)
• Have an email address (I'll just assume you have one).
• Have a real life address (I'll also assume this, but just incase...).

How to sign up to Google AdSense:

1. Visit www.google.com/adsense

2. Click on the Sign Up button

3. Fill in the information on the form.

You will have to wait 1-2 days for your AdSense application to be fully accepted. The 1-2 day period ensures that they can do any background checks, such as making sure you don't already have an active AdSense account. You will be notified by email when you are accepted.

Now, you can use your email address to log onto the Google AdSense website to view your account.

This is the Google AdSense Report page (The page you view when you log on):



1. Click on the AdSense Setup button

Below is the options you can chose from of which Google Ads to display on your website.



As you can see you have a variety of choice of which ads to display on your website.

2. Now click on the ad type you want (generally AdSense for content earns more) and then follow the wizard to set up your ad unit. You will be able to choose how to design and manipulate your ad. You will also see an option to implement channels, in a nutshell channels allow you to track and compare your ads and pages to see which ads and pages are earning you more revenue.

3. Click "Submit and Get Code" - You will now have the code to be posted on your website, for this you will need a basic knowledge of HTML. I will be making a topic on basic HTML however, you can click here to see how to implement the code into your website.

Your pretty much done for now. You will need people to visit your site :O. One tip: Don't tell your friends to consitently click on the ads, because Google knows :idea: . But you can drive traffic to your site in different ways . I will be covering this in one of my next threads!

Nice detailed guide. Oh and just a question, I thought google say's you have to have a registered site like .com, .net,etc. Not the free-hosting ones. Please correct me if I am wrong.

how much roughly a month can u make for this , i seen these adds befor not on this website and they all scams , and i cant really see meself making money from this cause i always advoid clicking on them adds , as they just lead to pop ups and spam , and im pretty sure alot of people think the same aswell , nice guide though and i wish you all the best of luck
