    MMOFPS: Crossfire VS War Rock

Crossfire(http://crossfire.subagames.com/) - It is a 3d first person shooter game with stable and powerful action as well as a strategic battle map that is currently in Closed Beta. The game boasts sophisticated graphics and a unique system which allows the game to run smoothly even on low-end PCs. The game has proven to be a huge success in Korea where it first launched in 2007.

War Rock(http://warrock.gamersfirst.com/) - War Rock is a 3D Tactical, modern FPS exploding with intense, fast-paced combat. Play 1 of 5 Strategic Character Classes, Military Engineer, Medic, Sniper, Assault, or Heavy Weapons Expert. Armed with the world's deadliest weapons and controlling the most lethal vehicles, players attack three story-driven, killer game play modes in the air, on the land and over the sea.

    Graphics & Sound:

Crossfire 7.5/10: I would say equal if not better than Counterstrike. Enviromental isn't bad at all. An enjoyable FPS avaliable to those graphics-impaired computers! Sounds are pretty good quality; each gun makes its sound and doesn't sound like a dying duck. Not much else to say on that. the "FIRE IN THE HOLE" line does make you think your guy may have crossed some homosexual boundaries though...

WarRock 8/10: WarRock has some nice graphics, with cool maps, variating from Harbor to and Airfield. Pick-A-Map and play! The weapon flashes and recoil aren't extremely realistic, but they aren't supposed to be. You can hear "BoOoOoOm headshot" in this game, at least almost. The vehicle and weapon sounds are fine, you can even hear footsteps! You can enjoy the sounds with a headset, or just speakers.

    Gameplay:

Crossfire 9/10: Crossfire is a team oriented game. New players start with 50,000 GP and may chose from three starting characters though it is recommended to pick the SWAT character for stability during the Closed Beta. Crossfire boasts 4 game modes: Team DeathMatch, Team Match, Ghost Match, and Annihilation Match. Of these, the most interesting and unique game mode is Ghost Match. In this mode, players are seperated into two teams. One team plays as normal while the other is limited to using only their knife. The knife wielding team are the ‘Ghosts’ and are almost entirely invisible. Each mode has its own unique maps but the total map count is still rather low at 9 maps. Crossfire has an optional tutorial which introduces the basics like movement, controls, and combat.

WarRock 9/10: War Rock offers five classes: Medic, Assault, Engineer, Sniper, and Heavy Trooper, which is a solid MMOFPS, an innovative concept in both gameplay and marketing. The low system requirements allow players to enjoy it even on older systems, as the game is entirely free to download and free for online play. Offering a variety of combat situations, War Rock brings forth fast paced and emissive action, able to satisfy the FPS gamer¡®s appetite for destruction. Massive vehicle combat is the strongest feature and will carry the player over ground, water and air. Although the game is still in Beta testing, it can very well be released. The developers did promise regular patching to fit the game with new content so the future is looking bright.

    Community:
Crossfire 10/10: The community was awfully nice; we all had a blast and I had a great time killing people and making friends at the same time :) Sigh... this is closed beta though; Wonder what will happen to the community when it goes open?

War Rock 8/10: Very cool community .. a bit harshe language in chat room sometime it gets heavy. The community of player on War Rock are very friendly, even if you raid there spawn and 1 out of 10 call you a hacker it is still a good people who play the game. ..

warrock sucks plain and simple, the bigger your wallet the more you win.

Crossfire way better and actually takes skill, plus there's alot more clan competition

I've downloaded Warrock 3 times, never played it lmfao. I like crossfire, just waiting for GFX patches. As for Warrock I heard its better than Combat Arms due to "vehicles". But I can't say anything first hand.
