I'm getting a little pissed about people saying U.S fails........

Yea, lots of people are saying nowadays, U.S is no democracy it sucks,ect.
U.S.A is where most immigrants want to live.
U.S.A accomplishments:
1.)They decided that no one can be half free and half slave and everyone must be free. Every country in the world at that time did not say Slavery is bad. But the U.S saw the torture and said it must end.

2.) Woman should also get to vote. Back then Woman were basically property and had no freedom whatsoever and they MUST obey husbands. (BASICALLY LIKE SLAVES) But the U.S said of course woman should vote they are human beings also, not Labor or sex slaves.

3.) Black people should also have the same equality of white people. Meaning it doesn't matter what skin color you are, you can buy anything you desire just like a white man if you have the money.

4.)The U.S also won the Revolutionary War and beat Britain. (At that time Britain was the strongest empire in the world and owned 50% of all the world. (NOT LYING)

5.) They ended the communist era of Russia. It destroyed the Soviet Union and rose to Superpower.

Now people are completely loosing faith of the U.S because of the war in Iraq...
But Ask not what America can do for you,Ask what you can do for America.
America is best known for Freedom and equality.
America is a safe haven for Immigrants that come from war torn countries with rape,murder,Genocides,Famines,Droughts,Desease.

America knew the Jews were harshly treated and America wanted them to come to America, to escape from Hitler. Just look at the Demographics.

Jewish Population:Israel (Homeland) 5,400,000
U.S:5,300,000
America's Jewish population is basically the same as Israel's.
America DOES care.

Everyone should stop hating on everyone else lol. Each individual is different, each country has an amount of dickheads in it. But theres good people in each country as well, i never judge a person from their race, culture/beliefs except for muslims and jews hahah. Anyway, who cares .

 

Every country has a moment in history that it did great things, for example: Holland used to be the greatest trade nation in the world, with their Dutch East India Company and Dutch West India Company. They used to fight the Spanish, which was one of the most powerful nations in Europe. There are alot more examples and every country has it's ups and downs. People are pissed at the US, because your previous leader sucked, he pissed off alot of people with wars, debts, etc. And about the US not being a democracy, that's true. And by the way, a democracy isn't the best system out there; just because the majority thinks one thing is good, doesn't mean it's the best decision.

 

United states of america is like the best country in the world, because bush is now gone! Anyway, the most immigrants in the whole world most likely want to visit america. I wonder why? This is because in america there are jobs available, food available and eveerything else for everyone that is living in usa, while there is poverty in some of the poor countries such as india, china, and africa.

What do populations have to do with ANYTHING?

America joined world war two because the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, not because of a sense of moral obligation to liberate the Jewish people from Hitler..

Yeah they ended the Soviets rule, won the arms race and what not, yet they also have EXTREAME flaws such as the McCarthy periods, which to be honest, was just as bad as the Nazi's.
