What makes a topic worthy of being in the Something For All Section

What divides the Something for All section and the General Discussion / Off Topic into two? Is it current events with an intellectual side point to it? The questions you ask about current events?

What sets Something For All apart from the general discussions is the openness of the conversation. Rather than giving a simple opinion on the situation, you back it up with a logically sound argument to educate the reader, entertain a fellow intellectual, and even change the minds of those open minded enough to accept when their argument has been defeated.

 

Ultimately, it's up to the thread-by-thread jurisdiction of us.

If it's open-minded, has a controversial / debatable point and has intellectual undertones, it usually stays here.
