NOD 32 Decesion help

I just got a new laptop ; deleted firewall and antivirus that came with it

and i'm thinking of getting NOD32 , is it the best for me

What i do on laptops

; Download , Aim , MSN , only =\

Should i get

NOD32 - Anti-Virus
or
NOD32 - Smart Security ??

if they aren't the best antiviruses , what should i download and install because what i listened on what i do on my laptop , downloading.

 

NOD32 is good but i think avast is good also

 

I looked up nod32 in cnet and it was given the highest user rating for internet security.

That one might be a good choice =]

Get Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009...it cost like $39.95 a year and is one
of the best anti-viruses around.

And for firewall use the one that comes with Windows XP / Vista it
works good enough. There is no reason to use something els.

 

Get Avast! professional, best anti virus in existence.

 

i personally say nod 32 and kaspersky are the best anti virus software you can get.

 

nod32 seems to get the highest ratings on most sites. i forgot the cost difference between the two but if its not that much then probably go with smart security

 

Nod32 is decent, although it can be a resource sucker at times so I do not use it. Here are a few programs you could use instead:

• AVG Free 8.0
• Avast
• Kaspersky
