    Question about PayPal chargeback

So i want to know that if i use MM for real money trade then is there a chance that money will be chargebacked? Or the money will go through MM account so only middleman can chargeback?

    Thank you for quick answer!

    Question about PayPal chargeback

Most MMs such as myself will not let the money go through us. Therefore, it will charged back by the person being sold to.

    Question about PayPal chargeback

    Boo hoo.
I take the money through my paypal. If the scammer chargesback, my paypal is affected and not yours (assuming it's not a stolen paypal).

    Question about PayPal chargeback

Exactly. I had 2 trades before, both through paypal.
Both are charged back. Never use paypal, is my advice. :l

    Question about PayPal chargeback

is there a time limit you can charge back? because surely... If people are willing to wait, then a middleman can hold the paypal money and the ingame rs items until chargeback over, then transfer both to the buyer and seller. I'm not sure, not actually used paypal, although it does concern me because I'm planning to sell my account. lvl 123 with 130m cash, and how it would be safest to guarentee I get a fair trade

    Question about PayPal chargeback

They don't need to be stolen to chargeback.

However, if you trade through a MM (like me), the money will be withdrawn from the MM's paypal and not the seller's paypal (again, assuming it's not stolen).

    Question about PayPal chargeback

actually if you don't have the money to pay for it then it will be traced to where you sent the money. I have had that happen to me before when buying items on ebay.

plain fact is paypal = not safe unless you're doing credit card trades with major companies or ebay. It offers so much buyer protection that the seller can easily be scammed.

    Question about PayPal chargeback

Ive sold hundreds of pins as well as MMed over hundreds of dollars.

At least 300 trades through my paypal(s).I have around 4-5 paypal accounts, 2 of which are verified.

Been charged back once for 22 dollars, and im getting that back soon anyways because it was a misunderstanding by paypal and not the buyer.

If you are good with paypal, you will never loose money from it. That's why I can MM those type of trades and not loose money. So to the person who said 99% of paypal trades get charged back, don't talk like you know everything about paypal.

    Question about PayPal chargeback

You're not buying/selling on ebay. It's a completely separate part of merchanting. What you outlined will only happen IF THE PAYPAL IS STOLEN.
