Windows Live Messenger Help

hey guys.. umm.. well anyways let me get to the point right away.. i can't download msn live messenger which is the latest msn..because i need to find a way to get around this message that it gives me everytime i try to install: "sorry, windows live messenger cannot be installed on windows server, windows XP professional x64 edition or windows operating systems earlier than windows XP service pack 2" so is there anyway to go around this or get service pack 2 for free because i am pretty sure i only have service pack 1 and i dont wanna buy service pack 2 so anyway to install live messenger because i really need it, i cant use web messenger because i cant do webcam and many other things i need to get the download.. so is there anyway around it ANYTHING i can do or a way to get service pack 2 for free or something? thanks... help is highly appriciated

 

get an older version, get the service pack 2 off Windows Update, it's free to download, if you have a legal version of Windows that is.

 

umm and everytime i try to download previous versions of msn.. it says i need the newst one.. and hence the same problem occurs.. kk i'll try installing the service pack 2.

 

Just download Service Pack 2... It's not really hard to find... Here is the download from microsoft.com

If you can't download it because of some reason from Microsoft just Google Windows XP Service Pack 2 Download or Free download.

Hey you might want to try msn online just hook it up on google.. Thats what I do
