Hey there,

I was recently messing around at school and found how to unblock all sights etc, But I got caught and now my acc is very restricted.
EG: I do not have the privilege to change time etc.

I was wondering how can I bypass website blocks other then CTRL L and Start - run and Changing time to out of business hours.. There the only ones I have found. Please post your ways to bypass locked websites on School/Work PCS.



Eg: Myspace = Blocked.
Answer: Change time to 2:45 AM
What happens: All Unblocked.
How they fixed this: Made my account unable to change ANY settings.

How can I fix this? Is there a way I can fix this? Or have the power to make accounts ADMIN?

You can visit a website by pinging it's domain and copying the IP address, then visit the IP address website.

any smart school blocks both of those methods, as does mine. just boot from a linux cd that can steal the computers admin account, then use that to log in as system, then do what ever u want basicly... unless they disabled boot from cd, and passworded bios...

I can access the command prompt, but they block both of those methods, plus others I have tried, so it depends on the school. My school is not very smart and they block those, so I bet most schools do.

 

Well, you obviously bet wrong.

And just hitting cache after googling something may work too.

 

Weird, the pinging of the packets usually puts you on a page.(TONGUE TWISTER FTW) Go to command prompt, and type in:

net user (whatever the administrator's account name is) (whatever you want the password to be)

So, if I wanted to change the administrator's password to password, and the administrator's account name was administrator, I would type in:

net user administrator password

Easy as that. If that doesn't work, start up the computer. Keep on pressing F8 when it boots up. It asks you what type of safe mode you want to boot Windows in. Press enter when highlighting "Safe Mode with Command Prompt". When you see the login screen, choose the administrator account with no password, it is impossible to put a password on the safe mode user. When the command prompt comes up, just type in what I told you.

 

As long as the websites aren't filtered prior to reaching the PC (ie: by the router or server) you should be able to boot to Linux with a LiveCD and just Firefox to browse whatever you like.

Some schools blocking the pinging method, with some bullshit about it not wanting to load the site from a mere IP adress, even though it'll do it perfectly fine on non-restricted machines. Or maybe I just forgot to put the http bullshit...
