about the Future PVP Update - am I stupid or everyone else?

okay, the way I have understood things is like that

Sign-Up - Create a new account.
Sign-In - Log in with an existing accunt

Jagex said Optional SIGN-UP, not SIGN-IN.
It would mean that it's an option in the signing up?

Wouldn't it mean that once the pvp worlds come out, you can't play in them with your old accounts, instead you'd have to create a new account and choose the "high danger pvp world" in the sign up?

Am I just stupid or am I the first one who really noticed that, because I have seen quite a lot of "new clans, which start when the new pvp update comes" and "I'm already creating a new pure for pvp worlds"

If you read it right it says you can change that by simply changing worlds. Meaning that all you have to do is change worlds =/

 

i saw it the way you did, but didn't assume the way you did. I can't see Jagex doing something like that, as that would make all of our current acounts obsolete.

Also, people making new accounts now, getting ready for the new update would still be stupid, as if you are right, they will still be deemed 'old accounts' even if they are relatively new.

it says that you can play in pvp worlds OR play in non pvp worlds.
you choose on which you want to play in the sign up.

edit:im not trying to grow my post count, I'm just trying to clear this thing up.
Edit2:I also wanted to contact jagex customer support to ask them, but I didn't find the place, Only found billing support.

 

You are making this WAY more complicated than it is. It is really not that hard to understand.

1. Go to runescape.com
2. Click Play Runescape
3. Choose Detail
4. There will be a few worlds dedicated to anywhere PvP, pick one.
5. Log in and get owned.

 

Please read my first post again and try to understand the difference between signing in and signing up.

 

I read the first post. It says "Optional Sign-up" as a title for what its about to say. That just means that the sign-up for the event isn't a semi-permanent thing like it was in classic. To "sign-up" to play, all you have to do is go to the right world?

The reason people are saying they are making new accounts is that when they took out the old wild everyone got def and fucked up their acc now they want to make a real pure for real pvp.

I think that they are going to give some levels different armor. Thats just my opinion. That will be of cores to stop real world trading..

 

Rofl no, WoW is nothing like that. You can PvP in PvE or PvP Server.

 

Nobody can really say for sure what's going to happen.

I think its a spelling error as i can't see jagex doing that .

 

I believe once you sign something its final or binding, therefore they used Sign Up instead of Sign In. Signing In would not illustrate the fact you can Die in PVP World. But Signing Up means you have thorough understanding. "Signing Up" could just be clicking a simple box to activate PVP worlds. My opinion.
