How to Access Blocked Sites (alternate version)

UE TEAM APP. GUIDE #5

As you probably know, this is a guide on how to access blocked websites. Although you may not know that this is not the overused version as seen many times on Sythe.org. This version does not involve any third party site.

>>Things you should know before you begin:
-You NEED a computer
-You NEED a blocked site (at school or work)

Step 1:

First find which site you wish to access from your work or school.

** Generally people ask about interactive sites such as Runescape, Myspace, or Miniclip. I’ll clear up the confusion now by saying that normally you can’t access anything like that, although sometimes you may be able to. You can, instead, access things such as Imageshack, Photobucket, and Youtube. **

In this guide I’ll use Youtube.

Go to your default homepage and type in ‘youtube.’

Next, look below the description of the site (right next to the web address). Here you see a link to a ‘Cached Page.’ Click it. Here is a picture of it.



Step 2:

After you click on it you should see this at the top (the date will be different depending on when you do this).



Now you should be able to get to most, if not all, of the sites that your school or work blocks you from.

yup mine too, and since I'm a senior this year, I've had 3 other years to master this. Just don't let the teacher see you do it.

 

Ummmm you can not watch youtube, since if youtube is blocked it won't dl the videos... google does not cache those..

 

you can get to the main page, but this is still great to use for photo sites

edit: or any other still image sites

this is more in depth, but good guide. cached dosent work at my school 5/10.

 

There used to be a way to fake a site by using headers to make the site appear as youtube but actually have a different domain, but youtube caught on and disabled it. ;-;
