How to skate on a half pipe

How to skate on a half pipe.​

1. You need to get supplys. You need a helmet, elbow pads, wrist pads, knee pads, skates, and a half pipe. ​

Now, to start off. You should always wear your helmet and pads. Trust me. I've broken my wrist twice and leg 6 times skating in the last 7 years. ​

When you are on top of the ramp, put the pipe in between your 2nd and 3rd wheel on both skates. Now bend your legs and always lean forward like this but after you reach toward the bottom stand up but still have your body tilted forward.​

Now that you have dropped in you have two choices.​

1. The first choice is to go get off the ramp onto the plat form. The picture bellow is on a skateboard but thats the best i could find. As soon as you start to head up the ramp start to lean forward again. Once the front of your skates hit the pipe lean forward give a little jump and while in the air you should start to head off the ramp onto the plat form. ​

2. The second option is to turn and continue on the ramp. Like the first option set your self up by leaning forward while going up the ramp. Instead of jumping, about half way up the ramp (using a 6 footer) start to lean torwards the way you want to jump. When your skates hit the pipe jump and turn yourself and start to head down. Your body and skates should hit the ramp a little bit down the pipe and lean down to start heading down. ​

There you go. You can now add in grabs, grinds, twists, or any tricks you want to do. ​

Yea but if the pictures where as small as they were when looking on google you couldnt see them. This is also just covering the basics this has all you need to do to drop in. Im making my other one a bit longer.

 

It could be longer and neater. Try adding format, and move away from just using ONE color.
