Hacking Halo 3 for the XBOX 360

By ANY means at all, is it possible to hack/cheat in Halo 3?

Well, i know how to standby but you need like 4 computers, i got 7 and atleast 5 are on all day.

 

I used to in h2 and i only needed 1 pc.

 

I know that there is some way to splice some wire(s) in your ethernet cable that connects your modem to the xbox (idk about the wireless router), and then somehow place something in there that will cut off the electrical current and attach it to a lightswitch, so that when you flip the switch on, you will be playing normally but to others it will appear that you are teleporting. I'm pretty sure that this is very similar to standbying, if not the same. But I'm not really experienced with this stuff. But there are mods, in case you havent seen them, which I would consider hacking, because it involves rewriting code (HEX i think) on the Halo 3 disk. I have seen multiple modded maps, such as your underwater (its terrible), a slowly growing forest on Valhalla (not too cool), and a bunch of maps with clones of AI on it (its terrible though because the AI do not attack or move for that matter, however you can kill them). I bet someone could figure out a way to hack something useful on it though.

Lol no offense to anybody, but I dont think the standbying is cool. If anybody ever did it to me and I could easily tell, I would fuckin flip out. As for the modded maps, they would be cool if it wasnt gay shit like growing trees and fake people. I dont know, I think it could be better.

 

Cheating in competetive games is retarded. As for mods you won't even be able to play online without getting banned.

I agree that cheating online is kinda gay, but I think you're wrong about the mods. Me and my friend have played them a few times online, and nothing has happened.

 

i have seen ppl cheat/hack in halo3 , i'm not sure how he did it but we were in custom game and he said im gonan turn my cheats on try 2 kill me and he was invincible and he could kill u in 1 shot with the battlerifle (every setting was normal)

but he said it was rlly hard 2 get there (i guess he did like that 1 guy said , splitting ethernet cable and stuff)

i no how to get halo 3 xp with out playing you need xbox 360 and 4 controllers if you have like 50 skill and 20-30 xp and wont more just play the social lone wolves and leave the contoller on becaue if there i only 6 players you will come 3rd no matter what and theres a point so try that and just leave them and they will get you in games

 

pwnmeister is right, you can create a *lag switch* for like $10 at a hardware store and it'll give you an advantage. My friend made 1 and ive seen it in use. These are mainly used for gliching and walking out of the death barriers but i think they can be used as a different form of standby

Modified controllers is all I know of, but cheating is cheap as hell and for people that have no lifes that have to cheat to win a damn VIDEO GAME, pathetic.

 

Modded controllers are the host common ways of cheating at any online game. But the more useful and me complicated would be to create a lag switch. However, i don't advise doing that as lag switches are easily detected and you will get banned pretty quickly if you use a lot.

When your Xbox360 is flashed, you are able to run 'backups' which is basic, pirated games
You could backup your Halo3 on to a DVD disc, and along with that, reverse engineer the game until you are able to alter some of the code to where it gives you an advantage in the game, you then will need to know how to spoof Microsoft's security measures in order to execute your modified libraries/game.

There is another way, which requires hardware knowledge such as modifying or creating & writing your own chip. (whichever one you think is harder to do)

So yes, you can hack the Xbox360 and its games.
