Runescape's New PvP Hints?

So, in 2008, we will be bringing you special 'PvP worlds', where you can fight other players almost anywhere! In addition to all the usual content you might expect to find in RuneScape, they will also include:

-Optional sign-up – choose between PvP danger or stick to ordinary play by simply switching worlds.
-High danger with items dropped on death.
-High rewards for kills. To avoid any RWT issues the reward for a successful PK will be generated by the game, similar to when you kill a monster at the moment. We're creating generous drop tables based on factors like your levels and the impressiveness of the kill.
-These drop tables will include "PvP world specific" items like XP-modifying gear, lvl 70+ equipment and new, glorious, short-term but hard hitting gear. -These will once again make PKing a viable source of income.
-PvP across 99% of the world, including the old Wilderness.
-Attack any player within a certain level of your own. Level range depends on the area, similar to the old Wilderness levels.
-...And all sorts of other twists on interesting content... Just think of the possibilities when you can PK anywhere!

Luring can make a come-back?

 

yah.. um this has been posted before on other threads but yah luring will probably run rampant at the beginning of the update.

Just wondering about the Luring Aspect of it. I'm so desperate to Lure on somewhere apart from Silab.

i dont know if luring will as you will be in a group of 2-5 and if the drop is random you might end up wasting money instead of earning mills

Well, ive got an idea...

ive got a friend who has a dfs ( hes a scamming douchebag )

and were going to all ancor spec him, as it drains prayer a shitload.

GF dfs and maybe a good item..

Haha, good idea. Just take him like a step outside Varrock, get someone to Blitz / Barrage and then Arcor Spec. Although I'm assuming it'll be Level 1 Wildi, so they'll all need to be the same combat.

Want another hint about this new PvP?
It will be the 4th biggest fail Jagex has ever made. (1st, 2nd and 3rd being wildy staking and free trade.) You know whats funny? jagex is going to burn and im going to enjoy it, as soon as this minigame comeout it will be exploited the drop tables are shit, you kill someone with ags and you end up with a grimy irit.

Eh, I think they may actually make better Drop Tables depending on how much the other person had, and their level to yours ratio, ie. how impressive your kill was (as they said).

only problem is if someone joins a world thats has dangerous pvp all over, theyre going to either have shit or be very cautious

 

I'm pretty sure JaGex would have warning before you login, stating you will be logged into a dangerous pvp zone etc.

 

umm dude, i dont think people are going to listen to u when u say, hey come to this pking world so i ca make a vid, and hopefully with the 30k (max) limit u will be able to see the t hammers im dropping which are worth over like 100k duh!!!

And you can just get them to follow you and drop runes so you can say it's 1K or something...eh anyways talkers will find a way.
