    My first sig!

This is the first sig that i have ever made please tell me how i did but remember FIRST SIG EVER

The sig is in my sig because i can not figure out how to post the picture in the post instead of using imageshack. so just look at the one in my sig.

Can someone help me figure out why the assasins creed guy is messed up? his shoulder and some on his head, but it wasnt like that before i cut and pasted onto the background.

    Its alright.
When your making a sig with a certain render make sure you try to blend the colors of the bg to the render so that they dont look like you made a bg then just pasted a render on.
Also try following some tuts and try to practice smudging and brushing.
And also lol when you are picking a render make sure when you pick it it isnt choppy, choppy is when the render has little white bit coming off it like yours does or when an animation isnt smooth.
It easy to see if the render is choppy on www.planetrenders.net because before you get the full render in its normal size it will have a black bg wich helps you to see the little bits of white.
Also im not sure why there are random part of blue ish black on him might of accidently magic wanded something and cut it?
But it might be because you save it as .jpg try saving all your work as .png because it will come out alot better.

I noticed that your sig wasnt the full size so i uploaded it again for you.
When you upload your sigs and stuff try using www.photobucket.com because its quicker and theres only one image code for the forums so it will help alot.

Anyways here is the code to make your sig the full size:
    http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l320/m_boy_lam/sacreduse3rzi3.jpg
When you copy in the code wrap it in img code: [IMG]

Copy that^ code into your sig then you will have the full sized version.

Ohh gimp r harder =/ lol
Umm a render is just a .png image like your assassins creed one but it has no bg it is just the person or object.
So that you can make your own bg and stuffs...
Like in my superman logo sig, the superman logo is the render in that.

o_O!!! The background doesn't go with the render at all. Read a few tutorials on some Gfx sites to learn the basics.

    www.planetrenders.net
Register there and then you should be set for ever lol just search for what ever render you want.
You can use what ever render you want, but when you do use it make sure its with the sig the whole time. Try and make the background around the sig so that it blends and has some flow and depth.
If you follow some tuts you should catch on pretty quick.

Planet renders is a great site for renders but keep in mind that the render (focal point) makes the sig and you must choose the best render. As for tutorials www.deviantart.com is a great site for tutorials, brushes and alot of different things that have to do with art in general. It is free to sign up for and you can get good feed back on your work.

I think the background, doesn't blend in nicely, and I also think that the blue on the coat (maybe on accident) looks bad. For a first signature, you did a good job, just not a good choice. :p

You can do some really cool stuff with just filters, actually it's much easier to blend if you just use filters on the render or a stock photo or something. Just don't go overboard on anything, and make sure your render is recognizable (like my current sig isn't)
