xL Designs - Orange Simplicity

Thought i'd try something different to how i normally design.

going to code it up and use it for myself.

 

How long did that actually take you? I have to make one for computer II.

 

I love it. The simplistic look is nice and crisp. Nice job Mat.

 

Naww, I think a black metalic look would suit it better, yo know BADBOY STYLE

remove that times new roman font replace it with something better.
it doesnt fit with the sleek design.

 

which one, the georgia font on the top right? or the tarjan pro on the logo? i'll probably change the georgia on the top right, but the logo looks lke shit when it's sans serif, and stands out more as serif, with the orange there to tie it in.

I suggest helvetica if it looks nice.

Trajan Pro is one of my preferred fonts but that georgia doesn't fit for shit.

 

It looks great TDD. Extremely simple and not extravagant and distracting, and flawless.

 

It looks brilliant but could do with a picture/pictures.

Err... Very nice work Mat, best I've seen of you in my opinion. Color choice is great, can't complain about that. The text is alright, though I think the page tabs (Home, About, Portfolio, etc.) and the top font Durial was talking about should be worked on, just doesn't look like it flows with everything else. Besides that, everything is awesome, I love the calendars you put in for the dates and the little tab you added at the bottom. But yeah, probably my favorite so far by you. Keep up the good work.
