Firstly i am against this update as much as every one else is. I know you are all saying omg yup this is what is going to happen. But i believe that this will not happen, of course this will diminish some of jagex's players but there will always be some players and some still paying for membership that declare they quit but are too scared to cancel membership in fear of the urge to come back and play but not being a member.

 

might happen, but what about those people who are going to be new to the game, (new people who are ganna join january)

Not every player will quit rs because not all rs players buy gold, merch, or pk. There are still real rs players that don't need the easy way to make money.
