    Pc Help.

I need help with system requirements.

I'm no tech wizard, so can someone tell me what I'm missing, and what parts I require to make this work?

    I see...

And, could you link me to a "proper" graphics card? And something that'll give me better RAM like Curris said?

Dont hate mate, My first rig was an e-machine and it ran Source like a champ.
Ill hook you up with some propper parts so you can play guild wars and maybe some other games.

For your pc it says you have 3 pci slots. Here is a pretty good PCI graphics card:

    Code:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814143032
Now your gonna need more that 256mb of ram for gaming, Simple as that. I Advise you at least get a gig. Here is a pair that seem legit:
    Code:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145439
With those man im sure you will have the juice to run guild wars on full settings. If you choose to play the latest games I advise a whole new pc build. But games that game out last year and stuff that are still majorly played should work fine. :) hope you have fun.

Your PC is a 2.66GHz Celeron. I don't want to put a dampner on this situation but that isn't a gaming CPU.

You'll be lucky to get anything lower than a Radeon 9550 running along side that. Anything with more power will no doubt begin to bottle-kneck against your CPU.

You'll probably need a new PSU aswell.

If he gets the ram and the graphics card he should be fine it only takes 800 mhz to run. I know Celeron isnt the best but im sure it will cut it for Guild Wars. I dont think he needs to worry about cpu upgrading and pcu upgrading since he said he isnt pc savvy.

Chances are that his current PC has a stock PSU. The PC is only a low end spec do no doubt it'll have a crappy PSU.

If he upgrades to a different graphics card I'd certainly say that he needs a new PSU.

If a PSU isn't giving enough juice to the system you're going to have alot of performance problems and possibly hardware faults.

Would be better if he could get the model of the PSU, google it and link it.

It's not only the Watt you have to look at on the PSU.
