Due to recent RS updates it is imminent that the Black Market will need to change.

What we're concerned about is the degree of the change. If GP trading is now virtually impossible we need to find out whether account sales are mainly done via RSGP or Real Life cash, to determine whether the account market can continue. Please vote.

 

If that happens then Sythe its self dies. People would still used rl cash to buy accounts.

 

SMR, number one, no-one really reads this section.

Number two, most people use in game gold, i know this for a fact, i'm talking 80%+.

 

As I mentioned in the staff forum, account sales will be unlikely to continue after the updates make it impossible to move items on or off of the accounts. They'll have to be sold as is - and I don't think traders will be willing (or wise) to pay for the bank and stats in the face of recovery; especially with RL cash.

 

New update starts january, i don't think anybody could buy accounts with rsgp anymore.

I use rsgp to buy accounts.

 

Rs Account sales are done as of January, because, not only did Jagex make it impossible almost to transfer money, but, killed Pking, Dueling, and many other of what were fun aspects of the game

 

Yeah, this is well out of our control, RIP account sales... I'm selling all mine before the update, hopefully. Lvl 104 with 96 str going for 12m if anyone interested.

 

I really think you shouldn't have a black market anymore.. As it is truely the main thing that almost 100% come on Sythe.org for..There really is no point after the update. The only thing you could actually keep that is worth keeping would be the Market Place forum. Why have a Middlemanning forum when the max interval trade of the items is 3k. Account sales have already been discussed..Gold trades will have a slim chance, I'd say about 15% chance of finding a new method to keep Gold trading alive. User services you could keep, hey, free training (I feel really bad for Kabal). Everything else has gotta go in the Black Market. This will definately cut the amount of people that visit Sythe.org everyday but hey, if you did keep these forums, it'd be handing people free posts, like anyone cares anyhow.

Middlemen are useless now..How can you do a trade if the max interval is 3k. I'd suggest making a new kind of rank for them to show that they were an official middleman of sythe so that they aren't forgotten forever .

Middleman Forum: Completely Useless
Account sales: Can be used for real cash but doubt anyone would buy for real cash.
Gold sales: Useless For now
User Services: Could be kept for free services

Tha kid youre right. ... everyone here is about to lose their business...im still keeping mine alive. charging USD most likely. but im thinknig a way around it. Training seems the only likely Black market tool still usable.

which would drive most people to acc training...and we'd lose alot o business...wow

oh and btw. noone will work for free for no reason. they train for free either to scam or to get vouches to gain trust with gp.....so Down the hole

 

me and my friends that play rs. about 20 people. r researchin new ways 2 transfer money. we have several ways but i will not realease inless a admin asks or if i no its works for sure

 

It is not impossible to transfer items to others. After this update its impossible to transfer to your self. Ok heres how you do it. You get buyer and seller they go to big monster with high hit andd have the worst gravestone. now when you die the items are kept in gravestone till it crumbles. So die and dont repair the gravestone when it crumbles the items appear.

 

sadly i just tried this and it doesn't work. new update has already taken place. when their gravestone disapears, so does the items. goes to show you how gay fagex really can be.

We should encourage people to make E-Gold/Paypal/Western Union Accounts.

Edit: Also, Since this update, I will use Real money for Accounts/User Services.

 

This is one of the worst things Jagex could've done for themselves, they are punishing normal users for our actions and the normal users are not accepting it.

Hence the recent post saying it's just as hard for them as it is for us. Killing duelling will mean that people who were looking forward to once maybe striking it rich and getting a phat now have no hope at all.

What is the point of training if you can't pk?.

 

umm actually im pretty sure that the user services will get bigger than ever, people will just be doing services for rl cash, and the middleman forum can still always be used for other games.

 

I was going to say the gravestone thing and just wait a bit... guess it's either trading rsgp over weeks and weeks or real money. The blackmarket would still get smaller even if you could trade rsgp though. Not alot of people bought skillers and that sort of stuff, most people bought pkers and stakers and they've taken pking and staking away from us.

 

I think we just need to try and expand to other games.
