Rumors of more lame updates

Credible rumor has reached my ear that Jagex has a trade update in the works for release in the near-future. This update will compliment the Duel arena update in limiting the methods of real World item trading.

There are several sub-rumors floating around, Jagex will be putting limitations on trade percentages. In other words, you won't be able to just hand cash over. If the amount being paid for an item is over a certain percentage of the items shop value, the trade will not be completed.

This hasn't been validated yet, but it is widely circulated and is quite possibly legitimate.

 

That would probably kill rs and MMing, you can still drop trade and MM takes cash or something.

lol if you cant sell something over a certain percentage they will ethier kill/have complete control over the rs economy and the price of rares will go down b/c the shop price of rares are like 5 gp ea.

these jagex people are quite stupid, cause they they put a limit on on percent of trade that would mean that u should be able to sell item at the shop for more, or the shop will be selling at a high price, this is killing my merchanting career, also for RUNE MINERS u wouldnt be able to trade of rune ores to noobs in the wild, so u can lose even more. everything is just getting stupid... runescape isnt just about skills! jeeze when would these people learn.

 

^^ they wont learn. Jagex wants everyone to use skills to make money, and to have one account. they think/hope that your main combat goal is to higher your cb/your skills. they choose to ignore, people that make account just to stake, or people that make accounts just to pk.

that is why the killed merchanting. that is why they killed pc. that is why they killed staking.
all this is basically giving in to the 12 year olds in rs that are too dumb to merchant or do anything else than higher there main.

There was a mail system in the same game. With a charge of 500gp per mail (around 1k?~ gp value ish) you can send a mail and an item (one at a time) to the person.

shame rs aint like that =(
