    First Slice, rate?

Basic, The text style is good but the actual text is a bad choice, if it was the original of that text it would look good (meaning the version that doesn't have all them scratches and cracks). The orb or what ever is in the middle is very strange, and not a good strange. And what is the little white bits at the bottom edges?

6/10, needs a lot of work.

EDIT, TDD: hey at least someone is looking up to you :p and you created are style that people are following...

Geez TDD, you didn't invent slicing, it's been around for ages! Why are you always against me! Besides, I got the idea off Decisive. And thanks HB, 6/10 is ok for my first slice ever. I spose you're right about the font.. it is a tad out of place. And the orb was meant to be a glassy glowing effect, didn't turn out exactly how i wanted it.

Its more of a continuing of what you made..However, im pretty sure you weren't the first person who created a signature of that type.

    Anyways... Let's stay on topic..

It's overall a good start, could be improved alot the corners need some fixing the orb in general isn't really a great orb..The text seems to not fit in very well, you should also try adding some depth to the slice.

    6/10

Well I made it in about 15 minutes, and I wanted to try something different for the orb. Yes I know the text isn't great... I just love that font! Probly not a great place for it. Hmm two 6/10's, I reckon I can improve. I'll get started on slice number 2.

I'm not against you -_- i wasn't referring to slicing, i was referring to the kind of sig, decisive also got the idea from me. You shouldn't focus on ratings either BTW, it counts for nothing, ask for CnC (Comments and Critisizm).

I've never seen anything remotely close to it before >_>

I have a tutorial for sale that teaches the techniques used in my sig to it's full extent, if you'd like, you can buy it.

CnC is like gold, you take what you get :)... and you always want/need more....

Anyway, next time you do a "slice" try a different style to what TDD and Decisive do, add something unique and eye catching. Its good to copy people but only for a reference, it can give you ideas to expand your own ideas and add your special style, if you have one.

Hope the next one is good.

You haven't now?Thats quite odd.. I beleive I see something remotley close to it everyday and on 99% of all websites since 1969,

and I'll look into that tutorial.

And I agree, CnC is the way to go.. Ratings wont get you better.

Kivrin if your saying what you posted was sub par and only took 15 minutes why did you bother posting it? Put some time into it and make it gentle to the eye.

And btw Kiv, by chance do you have msn?

True, True. Well could I ask for some CnC then? Also I'm working on a brand new version of slicing that's probably been done before, but I think it's very original still. Should be done in about 30 minutes-ish.

Are you? I beleive that is the question, There are multiple techniques put into your sig ..that remaining one of them..

That kind of sig is well..Generaly a "sliced sig". Stop QQ'ing someone is creating something similiar to what you created and give him a rating..I'm sure he would appreciate it more..

Thanks G3. I know what TDD is on about, he probably was the first person to have a sliced, linked signature on this forum. And the format of his slice has been inspiration for others, but TDD, G3 is saying you didn't invent SLICING. Which, nobody is saying you did. Also I'm asking for CnC now.

I like it, but theres alot of room for improvement. Change the text, thats most important.

    First Slice, rate?

God you are both morons, I said I didn't use the slicing technique, i meant the rounded rectangle with an orb in the middle is the technique I started here, sheesh, and ratings ARE NOT ALLOWED in GFX Forum.

This thread has become a spam fest, so Kirvin, just make a new thread for your new sig if you want, but you'll need to shrink it first, the maximum size for sigs on this forum is 350pixels high.
