can any 1 give me a noobs guide for mining

Heres a guide to mining, I don't really think its what your looking for but...
    _____________________________________________

My guide to getting high lv mining!

I'm going to assume your not a noob, so I won't explain all the common sense things, I'll also assume your looking to level up and not actually make money(you can make money after you're lv 85+).

Now if your starting a brand spanken new account, be sure to have a great name! It might seem silly but make it a name you like, I find when I'm making a pure miner, I prefer to work on it way more if I like the name, and vice versa if I don't like it.

The first thing I do is collect all the pick axes, from steel to rune.
You can easily get them in the dwarven mines, now that they have an infinite stock. It helps me to not have to collect these later on(I just hate collecting supplies).

    NON-MEMBER VERSION

After you've collected the picks, walk over to the south east varrock mine. Theres tin and copper here, and the bank isn't too far of a walk.

After you get to lv 21 or lv 15, use your mith pick or steel pick and go mine iron in the south fally mine, as the varrock south east mine is *always* full of iron miners. Or if your combat is high enough, the dwarven mines would be a good place to mine iron at.
You shouldn't have too much competition over at the south fally mine, the bank might be farther away but in the end its worth it.

Once you can use addy picks, you can either go back to the south east varrock mine, or stay where your at. Or if your combat is high enough, the dwarven mines would be a good place to mine iron at.

Once you're able to use rune, the fastest non member way I've found is this:
Go to south west or south east varrock mine and find some people who will run ore for you.
I always paid them them 100 per ore they run(then they give back the ore after your done mining) and had like 5 people who would run for me at all times. Then I would sell for 110 or 120 ea and make a small profit, But friends of mine who have tried this said they got runners easily for just 50 ea, which is faster then normal exp, plus you still make a nice profit.
The mine I suggest using runners at would be south west varrock mine.
The mines not too far from a bank, so you finish a load about the time your runners get back.

Of course you could just bank the ore youself, but that wouldn't be AS fast.

    MEMBER VERSION

Just mine tin and copper till level 10, then walk west of varrock and walk through the gate that leads west to mortaynia, only a little bit before the stairs you'll see a mining spot. This is limestone and I would have to say that its the easiest ore to mine in the entire game.
There are three ore per rock, and they respawn rather fast.I would suggest using an auto dropper and just power mining these. You don't really need to worry about competition with these as not many people mine here

After you can use a rune pick. Use the north east yanille mine, there are three iron rocks here and they're fairly close to the bank. I would have to say that this is the best iron mining site in the game. This is a good place to power mine at, or you could run the iron to the bank. This is one of the few places that I'll actually bank my ore at. I'll normally just drop my ore, but I don't mind running to the bank and back at this spot.
You could use runners here(even though member runners are harder to find) or just mine it like regular.
This place is good to mine at for a long time, But the next method is the best I've found through out the entire game.

The fastest way I've found for gaining levels would have to be power
mining granite out in the desert. Now don't expect to just run out
there and get amazing exp, or you'll die.. seriously.
You'll need to prepare before you go out there, take a few water skins
and wear white robes so the water skins last longer. Both of which can be bought at the shantay pass

The best method I've found for power mining granite is this:

First, you need to have two member accounts, one will be your miner,
the other one we'll call this account your mule. Although the higher he is the easier it will be to get past the camels and wolves in the desert, it doesn't really matter.

Now fill up your mule(the non-miner) up with water skins, and maybe
a little food to get past the camels and wolves.

After you get your mule and miner out to the granite, give your miner about 5 skins then mine for a while, when you need some more you can just drop trade.

This allows you to power mine granite for a few hours without being disturbed! Very fast exp, I believe it's the fastest mining exp per hour in the game. I timed myself and got 28k exp in an hour. I've gotten up to 300k mining exp in one day using this method.

I always used a auto dropper to drop my loads, makes it much easier and I don't think theres much risk of being banned. I used this method to get about 5m mining exp, and never got banned. But.. if you do get banned for auto dropping, don't blame me! =P

Coal: Personally, the only time I mine coal is when I'm bored, I find it to be extremely slow. I timed myself once and found I only got 12k exp per hour mining coal(in the mining guild), compared to 17k experience an hour mining and banking iron myself.
If you have to mine coal for some reason, the best place to mine it at is in the mining guild. Some people have suggested using the coal trucks, but I timed it and its significantly slower then using the guild. And thats when theres only you there, when there more then one person at the coal trucks, it becomes unbearable(for me at least)

Wild: other then the two rune rocks in the wild. I think jagex only put those mining pits in as a joke. I've only tried mining in the wild a few times and everytime it just made me depise it more. As a rule of thumb, if there are monsters in a mining site, don't use it.

Now these are the methods I've used to get about five accounts to lv 85+, but I've found that the best way to get a high lv mining acount(and this probably goes for all skills) is to pick a set amount of something, then mine that every day. Even if all you mine is 500 iron a day, you'll be suprised at how much you'll have in a couple months.

Another important fact that can impact how high a level you get is if you have fun while mining. Try mining with friends, talking with other miners, listening to music, and watching t.v. while mining. All that will make a big difference in whether or not you'll want to mine again.
