who/what is tegan and sara

 

Uhm yeah. Who are they?

 

They're an Indie Rock group, not my favorite genre of music. Yes, I heard their new album "The Con" is pretty good.

 

Two canadian twins. Singing pretty much indie rock. Defiantly one of my favorite bands, and I'm going to see them in Atlanta, GA on Nov. 16. I'm pretty much excited to tha maxxextreem.

 

are they hot tbh? etc. etc. background details for the ppl plz.

"Tegan and Sara Quin (born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on September 19, 1980) are identical twins and canadian singer-songwriters, performing as Tegan & Sara. They got their start by winning a local music competition, Calgary's "Garage Warz." Since then, the two have toured extensively with many artists, including Neil Young, Rufus Wainwright, Ryan Adams, Ben Folds, The Pretenders, The Killers, Little Birdy and Weezer. They are signed to Neil Young's Vapor Records. Tegan lives in Vancouver, British Columbia and Sara lives in Montreal, Quebec.

On their previous endeavor, "So Jealous," the two lend their unusual voices and simple guitar riffs to power pop ballads about love and emotional, haunting songs such as the chart topper, Walking With a Ghost. The twins are notorious for their live act, which includes sisterly banter, tales from growing up in and surviving lesbian teenhood, and a quirky sense of humor.
Their latest Album The Con, released July 24(2007), is a definite evolution of their previous sound and their strongest yet, but needless to say most of their tour is already Sold Out (although it should be noted they're only playing in smaller venues this tour "so they can see everyone's faces")."

well there a band who trys to mimic a band of its same genre and make it self and the same genre'd band look like shit and kinda ruined that genre for me

i keep seeing them on mtv commercials today, there hair looks gross.

lol that song back in your head is awsome. i am extremely into hardcore, but that song kicks ass like none other.

 

they're hot sometimes, sometimes they look like dykes.
the music is great either way.

 

hahah, i'm the same way. i'm into like as i lay dying, showbread, he is legend, mindless self indulgence, thenumber12looks like you, drop dead gorgeous, as cities burn, shit like that. tegan&sara is not my style of music at all. but they're so greattt.
