In order to use this Link you will need FireFox, or an internet browser that allows you to turn off JavaScript

Uncheck Javascript. Once done using World 2 Check Javascript again or some websites won't run if running on Javascript. (Youtube for example)

Tutorial for Turning Javascript Off On Internet Explorer


Tools > Internet Options

Programs Tab > Manage Add-Ons

Disable All Java Plug-ins (Press Ok when all Java Plug-ins have been disabled)

Go To The Security Tab And Click Custom Levels

Scroll Down To The Scripting Part And Disable All The Scriptings (There are only 3, do not disable anything else.)

Once you have done all that type this in the address bar.

Note:To enable Java Script again, just do the opposite of what was shown above.

Good post, this will help quite a few people who have trouble getting in. Although I don't know if most people would want to leave that unchecked the entire time.

 

Yea it's real helpful. I would advise not to leave it unchecked because you won't be able to do certain things such as watch videos on Youtube. I recently found out how to disable Javascript on Internet Explorer. I will be editing the first post for the tutorial on how to do it.

Yes it works, try it out for yourself. Well it isn't possible to get direct links to Runescape worlds without unchecking Javascript. The Javascript is what prevents them from working.

 

ummm no... my link works perfectly, thanks for the turotial for IE, the link I've got does exactly the same except it's not black aroudn the edges its white and not centred but doesn't need java turned off

omg.. when at the login screen for world 2, add to favorites and bam! your there.. lol..

 

Just download EliteSwitch runescape client and you get every world like that. If it weren't for elite switch I wouldn't have my fighter torso from barbarian assault because it let me in world 6 every time.

 

This link is really only for people wishing to get into world 2 without having to use any world switchers. Alot of people don't like to download switch and therefore this link will help them.

y would there be somthing not safe with a link from runescape.....

 

Why is it necessary to disable Java? I use my own custom .html file to access world 2. I've just loaded that link in an iframe, added some quicklinks for my own personal use at the bottom, and done some other stuff.

What benefit would disabling Java have?

 

Besides the fact that disabling Java will make the link actually work? Without disabling Java, all the link will do is bring you to the Runescape main page. So in order to get into world 2 you'll need to disable Java so the link can redirect to world 2.
