I'd say that you have decent drawing ability, but it doesn't look like you 'flow' much in your artwork, your edges are jagged and look forced, they don't look like they belong, you know?

I think you should learn to shade aswell, just start with smooth shades, and then work to gradients, add shadows, and eventually you'll get much better at making your drawings look more realistic.

You also need more detail in your drawings aside from the shading, adding textures would greatly help your drawings, do dragons really have smooth skin? Try adding scales the next time you draw a dragon, but first I suggest that you try drawing a person, try and stay in proportion, and be sure to add as much detail as you can, but don't go overboard.

It's hard to just take advice on drawing, but you just need to tack on more, little by little. It'll take time, but so long as you know how to shade and add enough texture to your drawings, the visual appearance of your drawings will improve dramatically.

Also, don't worry about color. I only color in my drawings if after all this detail, it's still not obvious what I was trying to portray by doing them. Color does indeed ruin drawings if they are detailed, but it can bring life to a piece which has no details and no shading. *cough*

    Thanks, Bare. :)
