    Case mods anyone?

I just finished installing some new mods on my computer's case (I'll post some pics at the end of the thread) and I was wondering if anyone else here was into Casemodding? Or just building computers in general?

    Post away.

    Here are some pics: [IMG]

The inside of it is what makes it expensive. But I built it myself.

It's got an AMD Dual Core, which is nice, and a nice mobo. Cost me around $2000 + I had a lot of input devices, which if added on maybe would make it $2.3k-$2.5k perhaps. If you were buying it ready-made it'd be like $3k, because building your own computer is so much cheaper.

Funnily enough I'm not really a gamer, no, I play a bit of GunZ every now and then but nothing serious.

And yeah, the lighting is what I worked on today, got a Liquid Crystal Neon Tube, some Electroluminescent Cable and 3 plain laser LEDs. Turned out quite nice.

I must say it looks sweet. And i could definetly use dual monitors.
But im not into spending that much on my computer.

How much did all the mods cost roughly?

The actual case+mods all up was around $300 I think... Including the Power Supply.

Aww TDD that looked like it'd be real cool in its prime. :(

You should touch it up a bit. Add a little flare back into it, it wouldn't cost much.

Yeha it's water cooling, technically, it contains $250 pc coolant, distilled water, and car coolant with a touch of UV reactant fluid.

I like it, but it would have no point of me to do it because I don't bring my friends over to my house and say "HEY GUYS CHECK OUT MY NEW SHELL DESIGN!" Plus I have a shit computer :).

I like the monitor better than the pc's effects TBH.

Hmm, acrylic cases are cool if used properly, some people just fill 'em with lights and think they look cool. Though i guess I'd have to see your computer itself to make a proper judgment.

    Anyone else? :D

If I ever modded my pc it would be very simple.

Jet black case with a blue power button.

    Simplicity is my thing :)

    *points at avatar*

    For example.

Lol, that'd be a mad mod Shin, it'd be pretty damn cheap too. Buy a sweet jet black case, bitta power-sawing and drilling, bitta soldering, it'd really look cool.

I couldn't help myself though, I'd have to add a window.
