Is decent for starters. I'm a club promo DJ and my crew has our own studio, so I know what I'm talking about. My suggestion would be to get a better mic or a better DAW for recording. Your flow is ight but the sound isn't quite there yet.

 

That was really good, but the background music is a tad bit too loud, but either way it was good.

 

Thanks everyone, I'm trying to work on my sound, my mic isn't the best though. I'm trying to get better, and i'm saving money for some studio time in the future. Now that i think about it i do kind of sound like a younger snoop haha. But yeah, when i'm not working or at school i'll be working on more songs, so there'll be more to come. I appreciate the feedback, keep it coming.

Yeah from time to time with friends, I'm decent at battles, but I'm best with a pencil and notepad. I'm working on my freestyling though.

well I started at 16 recording over an iphone, but recently i downloaded a recording program to record on. I'm 18 now, btw, so roughly 1.5-2 years.

The first one is pretty good IMO.

Second one, from 1:13 -> 1:27(ish) sounds a little forced (IMO). Otherwise it's good as well.

Pretty damn good. I was impressed. If you get good at rap battles / freestyles and get on youtube you could go somewhere.
