Hey guys. Just thought I'd share some "statistics" for people who do training for 1gp/XP.

Okay, let's say a million GP is $5, right? Well that means you need a million experience for 5 bucks.

On average, people get 25,000 experience per hour.
So that's... 40 hours (a work week) for $5.00 USD.

Thus, meaning you work for 12.5 cents an hour. Might as well move to China and go to a sweatshop, Ehh?

Why not just go and work for a week, and earn what you would make in like a year training?

Correct me if I did any calculations wrong, because I did it all in my head.

[EDIT] Anyway, I'd totally raise you half a penny an hour if you run some errands for me instead.

Oh, and for those of you who haven't heard of math, here's a chart.
4GP/EXP = $0.50/Hour
8GP/EXP = $1.00/Hour
16GP/EXP = $2.00/Hour
32GP/EXP = $4.00/Hour
64GP/EXP = $8.00/Hour [MINIMUM WAGE JOB]

So if any of you can get 64 GP per experience, go ahead and continue training.

And this is exactly why I stopped my training thread.

But I actually got paid once for getting someone 1-63 Hunter.

It only took me a little while to get, and I got paid $37.42 for doing so.

I think that payment was well over 12.5 cents an hour =D

But yeah.. it's kind of lame

 

It's based on 1GP/EXP on training a skill.

 

Or, you could get a job + Auto full time for people, making a good stack of money.

Most people use bots so its free money either way.

Also the other percentage of trainers 'love' playing runescape so to them its not like work, they are getting paid to do what they like doing. I bet they'd think working an actual job sucks balls.

 

You have to understand, though, that most of the people on sythe aren't legally allowed to work, so they do what they can to make money and spend it on gold or accounts or something else.

 

This is why ive never trained for cash lol

 

Because most trainers are 12-year-old basement dwellers who can't legally get a paycheck yet .

Well why not do something that actually makes half the amount of a minimum job? Not 64 times lower.

 

Its easy to get a paypal account, you just lie about your age lol. So yeah the fact that they have a paypal account doesn't have anything to do with their age >_<.

Like Tyson said, they can easily create paypal accounts. They really don't have many other options for making money.

True. Multi-logging could be good though. log into 10 accs than its $1.20 a hour

 

You'd have to get on at least 50 to really make a profit close to minimum wage.

(not directed at you) Good luck affording a computer that can run 50 runescape screens, and good luck trying to log them in at the same time, and if you do, I'm sure some will get banned. :noworry:

I guess its mainly for vouches which leads to becoming a middleman where the profits are actually nice.
