Does Jagex do IP bans?

I can't access runescape for some reason. My internet is working because I'm here typing this, my router isn't blocking it and I could get on runescape last night (18 hrs ago). I'm able to get to it thru a proxy though. Any ideas what it might be?

 

Jagex does IP bans. Use a proxy, change your IP, or quit Runescape.

 

But my account isn't banned.....

 

Maybe your account is banned and you don't know it because your not allowed on Runescape. Have you tried to use EliteSwitch yet? If you can't log onto your account on that then you have been banned and Jagex decided to also ban your IP.

 

jagex ip ban's but its only temp. usually about a week or so (atleast it was for me) my accounts were never banned just couldnt access the site. also kid above me stop double\triple posting there is a thing called edit , try it

I'm starting to think it's my router, may have gotten hit by lightning or something or need to be reconfigured.

They didn't. I know it, it's still in highscores. Plus I've never macroed lol. Only small scale cash transfering from accounts and no previous blackmarks.

 

If they caught you macroing for over 2 times.

 

I dont think its a IP ban, just wait(you probably can acces runescape again in a short time) or use Eliteswitch

 

It's possible your internet might've stuffed up somehow. It's pretty rare for them to do an IP Ban. It might be a suspension, but who knows?

 

wait a week or so and see, probably something wrong wit ur setting. try using a different browser.

 

Jagex does do Ip bans. One time I kept on spamming on my low level account a long time then I had to change my ip address.

 

Got it working, router was having issues. Had me worried.

 

disconnect your modem and re-connect then try accessing runescape.com.
